  1. I guess I've been in a cave; new 26 Mustang GT well equipped for 64-67k??!!

How are they paying tariffs if they make everything in the USA?
  2. I guess I've been in a cave; new 26 Mustang GT well equipped for 64-67k??!!

How much do you think they make? What is a "living wage" in your definition? Your better argument would be, we need to make all our cars in the USA, where we have defined environmental rules and follow them, instead of farming MFG out to a third world country who can pollute with impunity and...
  3. Dyno plug question?

The old dyno plug....I can say with certainty, holding the button for 6 seconds does in fact turn everything off in my car. I know of a couple other cars where holding the button works identical to pulling the dyno plug. It seems like it is very car specific. I also think there is some...
  4. I guess I've been in a cave; new 26 Mustang GT well equipped for 64-67k??!!

MSRP just doesn't matter anymore. I just bought a new truck, and we were no where near MSRP when price discussions even started. And I got them lower than that yet. Between A Plan and X Plan ultimately. What is crazy, I bought a new gasser 2 years ago, same exact trim level, same everything...
  5. Line lock will not engage 2019 GT

It was pretty easy when I did it. Do you have a video of you doing it? That would help us understand. I think engine, trans, and diff need to be at a certain temp too.
  6. Apex Forged Sprint Line vs. Forged Enduro Line

3 years give or take. I think Webspoke criteria is right. I thought 200 tw wouldn't be too grippy, but I guess it is. Lot's of dynamic loading on these wheels for sure.
  7. For those keeping the Mustang..are you buying parts?

I suspect the computers will be the hardest to find, and the software needed to swap them to the car. Best idea is to go standalone ECU now. You know, because you want the car to last forever. (In case there is a SO you need to justify a big expense to:wink:)
  8. Apex Forged Sprint Line vs. Forged Enduro Line

I cracked a sprint wheel, with no idea when. Worse, the event I was at, I wasn't pushing the car particularly hard or taking kerbs. I was washing the car and discovered the crack. My next set will be the enduros, but I will keep running the sprints I have. For reference, my car is 38xx lbs with...
  9. Clutch pedal only came up halfway.

Yeah, mine started doing it too. It was the clutch master cylinder. There is a handful of threads out there on how to replace. Not particularly hard, just cumbersome. You will probably not have any issues for a while, then it will start to happen more often. just watch it.
  10. Godzilla 2.0 Build (2020 Mustang GT)

Noob question here, but how are you planning to link up the 10R80 to the 7.3? My understanding is the bolt pattern is completely different. Is there already an adaptor on the market for it?
  11. GT 350 Brake Question

You shouldn't have any squeal with stock pads and rotors. I'd hazard a guess that the pads on your car now are not stock, and that is the source of the squeal. But without seeing them, I can't really tell you.
  12. GT 350 Brake Question

Factory pads for your use case. Maybe one of the gloc street pads, you can pick OP Mustangs brain on those. Enjoy the new ride!
  13. SCCA CAM-C Thread

You're getting a balanced feel with no front splitter?
  14. SCCA CAM-C Thread

Now that the car is in a good spot, I may need to hit you up on this.
  15. Do lowering springs =track only with the handling package splitters? Different splitter =more performance and durablity?

The stock aero does work. But it's a big compromise because 90% of owners just want the looks, not the function. Stock aero is much more drag focused. Track aero is all about efficient, actual down force. Yes you will scrape more lowered. Especially with the canned options out there, which...
  16. The electrified Mustang Ford should have made… S550 Mach-E build project

Montana plates solve many things. Keep going!
  17. According to the WaPo - The death of the stick shift is almost here

I can't even imagine how bored I'd have to be to read something from the WaPo lol #savethemanuals
  18. What's The Annual Cost of Tracking Your Mustang

Open track is well known for being awesome. A track like CotA, you don't need it. Tight, technical courses, yes I'd definitely get it if this was my only car. But I'm of the mindset, I gotten into an activity where I could total the car, and if I can't afford that, I need to not track my car.
  19. Battery recommendations?

I'm in Houston. I don't know that I get much more than 3-4 years out of a battery in a daily vehicle thanks to the heat. My car lives on a tender and seems to do better. I need to get better about checking water levels in the battery, which would prolong life. But since most batteries are under...
