  1. First oil change 2025 GT 350

Pretty sure OP is a bot based on other threads posted from the same account.
  2. GTP’s Poor Mans McLaren (w/ pics, tips, & techniques)

You're going to reduce pressure in front of your radiator by doing that, and I would think dumping that oil cooler diverted air in a low pressure location would reduce DF. But I'm really interested in hearing results, keep us posted. Are you completely boxed up front?
  3. Intermittent no-blip

Ahhh, okay. Mine actually did do that. I went to a blip module because of my terrible heel toe, and that fixed it. But yes, I do know what you're talking about. It takes a lot of throttle to engage the engine.
  4. Intermittent no-blip

What happens if you jam on the throttle, not just blip? I've never had that, but tbh, I never mastered heel-toe shifting either so I was probably doing something wrong.
  5. Car runs Terrible after Build

I'd call Rob. Tell him exactly what you did, and in what order.
  6. Mustang gt 2021 smoke when downshifting and gas

He asked why it's smoking, not if it's illegal. Anyone who knows cats are removed knows it's illegal. As to the smoke. OP report back with the catch can. The smoke looks like unburnt fuel, but if it's oil, catch cans, like the small ones J&L sells, will be more than sufficient. If it's coming...
  7. Corvette ZR1 vs. Mustang GTD Track Battle

How about seat time in each car? Did one have more experience behind the wheel of their respective car? And what tires on each, we know there's a big gulf in 200w tires. Also I'm really curious what tire they fit on the GTD? Because if running Cam, I swore there was a rule you could run the...
  8. Honey Badger's Completely Off-the-Rails Race Car Build and Track Adventure Thread

Haven't been out yet to try them out. But, I'm hoping it does. The small ones I had were good up to 120, so hopefully bigger is better. The real answer is the mirrors you have. But this was easier.
  9. Honey Badger's Completely Off-the-Rails Race Car Build and Track Adventure Thread

I had something similar to that, made out of plastic I heated and bent. It works well until about 120, then buffetting returns. I bought some bigger ones because I couldn't find a printable design online to have printed.
  10. SCCA CAM-C Thread

A friend took delivery of his and I got to watch it. The Ford engineer got real squirrelly when I started asking about weight, and where they found weight savings. I was just trying to steal some ideas of what they did on the GTD, but getting a straight answer is rough. 1 spot on saw on that...
  11. Antimatter Blue?

Is it ceramic coated? I have the new Argon Blue on my truck, and the last truck was Rapid Red. Both "dark" colors. Ceramic coating transformed the paint on both, and added depth to the paint. My truck now pops even in the shade, but is on a different level in the sun. And makes it easier to...
  12. New IT Mod Everyone Must Do: Epoxy Coated Marine Battery Cable Terminals

That's way more than three words. But duly noted!
  13. I Hate Michelin…for this one thing!

I have one set of RT660s, 315/30/19, that I "practice" with, and a set of SC3Rs, 325/30/19, that if I am trying to set a PB, I throw on. The SC2's, if you have a stickier tire on another wheel, probably would be excellent for that "practice" if your goal is lap times actually. I would love to...
  14. I Hate Michelin…for this one thing!

Non-rim protector makes it look like a track only tire. Rim protector adds weight. I probably wouldn't track a SC2, but I would definitely go non-protector. That difference would bug me too.
  15. Strut Tower Brace Paint Color

I'd say even if you rattle can it, definitely get a quality clear gloss. I did it on my vents, and they look much nicer now. A high quality 2K clear is what I'm getting at. It really improves the depth of color. GTP is right, the gloss is real tricky to get the right thickness, and I didn't get...
  16. Biggsy's Track Build

Dang man, that's awesome. The stock oil cooler in my car has been doing great, it's kind of shocked me, otherwise I'd definitely consider the route you're going. You car is going to be completely transformed!
  17. Biggsy's Track Build

TMMV, but I can only get 10 quarts in my GT500 pan. I was expecting 12, and am kind of stunned that it only holds 10. Curious to hear where you end up at.
  18. Ford previews 4-door Mustang hybrid sedan (Mach-4) to dealers

Bronco absolutely should always be a 2 door. We went off roading at a park in my buddies, and my goodness the 2 door is so insanely capable, it blew my mind. The Mustang should be 2 as well. But if I gotta deal with calling a 4 door Ford car a Mustang just to start seeing good looking sedans...
  19. Ford previews 4-door Mustang hybrid sedan (Mach-4) to dealers

Dang I didn't know it went away over there too.
  20. Ford previews 4-door Mustang hybrid sedan (Mach-4) to dealers

Any other name would have been better. But it does look good. Side skirts will never be that big. I've wished Ford would bring back practical cars for some time. Glad to see they are working on it.
