Yeah I rushed it after work one day while drinking Tequila. Bad combo! I should have waited until Saturday morning like I normally do. All the greats are Chris! 🤣
Yours might be capable. I use the eboost2 which can do a true boost by gear but I use a switch by the shifter to up boost. It's easy to hit in between gear changes and I have full control depending whether I want to grip or slide at anytime. Lol
Nice set up. The boost by gear is pretty awesome. I launch at 6lbs and go to 8.5, 10.5 for now while I'm running pump gas. Hoping to turn it up soon. It launches great at 6lbs and you can really feel it up top when you turn it up.
Maybe it has the pp2 or 3 from ford performance? I've heard a few others mention low speed pinging with that set up. Might want to figure out if it's the gen 3 mani or the gt350.
I think it may have been for all the 19 and up. My 19 was built in 18 and the trans is still kicking at 101,xxx miles. No shift fork issues. Sitting around 700whp and abused daily. I never thought it would live this long but here I am.
If your doing mostly short trip city driving it's probably accurate. If that is how many highway miles your getting something is off. I get 250-300 usually but I do 50- 90 miles round trip daily for work.
34 psi! I wouldn't fire it again. When mine had low oil pressure it still hit 55 at cold start. Sounds like you have a much bigger issue than I did. Good luck!
It should sound way better if you go back to an x or h pipe. Plus like mentioned you have no scavenging with straight pipes so it's probably hurting performance.
It's a noise the gen 3s make. A lot of people think it's the DI pump kicking on but I don't know that its been confirmed. It's usually more noticeable when the engine is cold and it's more prevalent in lower gears. Mine is between 1800 and 2800rpm to be exact. Been doing it for over 100,000...
