Should have rolled 100k at the beginning of the year but my gt was down 10 months waiting on a new engine. Finally rolled it over Thanksgiving. Turbos, engine, clutch, shocks and brakes, other than that pretty much all original parts and the car still feels planted at 150mph! Not to shabby for...
The borla s type was too loud for me too. I had the full cat back though so swapping the borla x pipe with the borla resonator was a straight swap. If your running axle back borla with the steeda x pipe it's going to take more work. As long as your NA the borla resonator flows just fine.
Prochargers can only be advertised at certain prices because they sold by dealers not direct. Beefcake has said it 100 times before, he can beat the cost of an ess on a comparable procharger kit. Has any one actually hit him up and tried on one?
That's exactly why I would worry too much. 18+ opgs are better than previous models. Plus you see very little failures from them. Ford performance only offers an upgrade for 17 and older. Has to be a reason behind that.
I shift my hellion car at 8k all the time and caught the limiter a lot. I don't bang on it but it's easy to nip in 1 and 2. Pulled the motor at 96k miles and the oil pump gears looked just fine.
Mine definitely doesn’t start that low and I've been on the aftermarket clutch for around 50k now but 99% positive my stock clutch didn't either. I have the clutch line as well but not the spring. I cant measure where it starts right now because I just had surgury but my engagement doesn't start...
And I agree if temps were consistently below 40 it would be a different story but op is talking about 45°. Out here I've driven in morning temps as low as 24° but the afternoons would get up to high 40s no issues.
45° temps shouldn't be any problem for a summer tire. Especially if you're doing a 400 mile trip. They should get plenty warm quick enough. If you felt it the whole trip you have something else going on.
Honestly I wouldn't worry about it then unless it comes back on. If it comes back on scan it right away while the light is on. If you still aren't able to pull a code it could be abs or srs. Not all scanners will pull those codes. But for now, wait to see if it comes back.
