The refresh design is great news as it looks nothing like a GT350 - not even close. The Shelby just became that much more unusual and exotic looking. Very pleased.
I'm running 7mm / 15mm RSS spacers on my 997S - and have put over 40,000 miles on them - much of that at speeds of 135 mph+ for extended periods (sometimes hours)
My 997S isn't tracked but if I were to track, this is a danger?
Had no interest in any other American car - for me it was innovation - Flat Plane Crank V8, 8,250RPM, MagneRide Suspension, and looks. Oh and the first Shelby GT350 in decades - One of the great automotive icons - the fact there is nothing else like it in production didn't hurt either.
A lot of them do this. Slight ticking from the wheel area very hard to hear unless you open a window and coast slowly even then barely audible. I know one owner's dealership thought it was the hub assembly so they replaced them but his still ticks.
You made the right choice for American sports cars. I've been driving Porsches almost everyday for the last 8 years and that's really what I have most interest in and of course the Shelby GT350. I never considered Camaro, Challenger, Corvette either - barely give them a second glance.

It's funny because it's true.
The comments on youtube are entertaining - had she said something mildly intelligent or informative about any of the cars I would of praised a good review (it's a great lineup of cars).
Zero interest in automatic sports cars at this point. I switch back between a 997S 6 speed and the GT350 Tremec 6 speed - which means I have two of the greatest manual transmissions made in the last 10 years (apart from the R8 gated).
I love every minute of driving these both on street and...
HP - what's the latest?
I think everyone hit the main points here. You've got two very different driving experiences.
GT350 is much more of an "event" on the road, especially if you pull the resonators to really hear the flat plane crank V8 - basically feels like you stole a cup car and...
