Are the wires that run under the car wrapped in any kind of special wrap from Varex? The ones next to the mufflers don't look like it, I'd hope that white wrap is a good heat resistant one.
I do, but he said he didn't want anything over the top, which is why I listed only bolt ons. Of course compressing the thinner air will give him plenty of power, as you mentioned.
Here is a video I posted in another thread that someone pointed me to. Longtubes (catless) with stock resonator and corsa touring axleback. I love the sound, and will likely be going this route, as I want a little more volume after hearing my longtubes with the stock exhaust. I don't think this...
Like the title says, looking into getting a Corsa Touring Axleback or Sport Catback. If I can find one in good condition that's used, I'll take it for the right price. Just testing the waters before I go out and buy a new system.
Anyone have any sound clips of a car with headers, stock resonator, and corsa sport/touring axleback? Deciding between catback and axleback. Would really not want to have a screamer at 2k rpms, which is why i'm leaning toward an axleback.
Well, that number seems low because the headers were hitting the AC line bracket bolt under torque, and I would believe it was pulling timing. I have since pulled that bolt off and it does feel more responsive. I have not had it on a dyno since I took the bolt off, so it may be higher...
Wouldn't a performance package car be able to run the front tire in the rear as a "spare" for a short distance? Say I bought a new front PP rim and tire, wouldn't I just be able to mount it on the rear and drive to a tire shop? Thinking they have the same circumference, just 1/2" more narrow...
