So I finally got mine out. took me about 2 hours. Wow. I used a 10mm wrench and did 1/16 turns for about 45 mins then used my fingers to barely turn it. Once I got it loose enough I pulled up on the metal bracket and pulled the stud out, jammed a screw driver under the bolt to hold it in place...

I can post one tomorrow. I am catted, connected to the stock exhaust currently as well. Still trying to decide what cat-back to get, if any.

Have you been adding oil based on how much you've taken out? I put my JLT separator on the other week, will be checking that as well.

Cool, will have to try tomorrow maybe. That rattle drives me insane, I wonder if that could cause the low numbers I put on the dyno with my current mods (405). And for gas I typically try to stay with Shell only. I do fill up at an HEB shopping center occasionally, I'm not sure how their quality...

Too bad I totally forgot about this post. Had my headers installed and forgot to bring it up to the guys who did the install, now I am having a similar issue with the Pypes headers. Getting a pretty noisy vibration from the contact at about 4-5k RPMS. The clearance between the mid and the bolt...

That's all you got from those mods? Man, I get my headers installed friday and just did a steed CAI and Lund tune. :( Procharger time?

I bought the ford kit from ebay, I haven't tried it out yet. I will see what it looks like after I get the front end repaired from a hit and run :frusty:

Has anyone done headers, aftermarket resonator and an axleback? I am waiting on my headers to come and am hoping someone has done it.

Almost makes me want to just spend the extra $100 or so and get a MGW with the full assembly...

What's the opinion on pypes headers? Any reason why they are much cheaper than the other brands such as stainless works or kooks? I want to pick them up but don't want to have the buyers remorse later....
