    No sorry for the confusion. That was previous owner oil. all I know is when I had the dealer do a pre purchase inspection and leak down test they asked if I wanted the oil changed because it had been a year but only 1000 miles is what they said. wanting to use the AMSOIL I declined that service.

    @Skye the catch can was glitter free. It was maybe a quarter full not much in there at all

    The catch pan was clean before this task. Yes glitter before cutting open filter. First couple pics are of the catch pan after draining the pan.

    What’s up, is it normal for these voodoo engines to have some glitter in oil? Was doing some maintenance while I am waiting on the title for this new to me 2016 GT350 with 59k mi. I’m freaking out because this looks like metal to me. Cut the filter open and I don’t see any flakes in the paper...

    Appointment set with one of my local ford dealers for a pre purchase inspection as well as a leak down test. Should be about 3hrs shop time. Worth it for me to have some peace of mind
