yes motor is still in the car, that's the goal to pull all the mains and check.

Amsoil UOA came in and I just dropped it off at UPS, so hopefully some answers soon on that. Amazon dropped on my ARP main studs so I'll try and work on those tonight

Yes agree not once has anyone hit me with the “did you do a search” or “that’s been discussed several times already” BS non value added crap. Everyone has been great.

Should I be concerned about not being able to pull the connecting rod cap? Depending on what I find with the main bearings? I guess if the main bearings look okay then odds are the connecting rods are good too?

Ford calls the cam cap bolts exactly that cam cap bolts, but ARP calls them cam tower bolts. Anyone know if they are the same thing?

AMSOIL uses a company called Polaris.

Well no one can get connecting rod bolts. I’ll try one more local dealer but even called accessories.ford.com and they couldn’t help either. looks like ford has the main cap bolts but not APR and MMR have both main cap and cam cap bolts. No one has connecting rod bolts. also ordered 2 uoa kits...

Yes I think so. I’ll send both oil samples. The old and this AMSOIL I just changed the other day. I think I’m looking good. I at least feel way better about the motor

On the surface everything on the bottom end looks good too. Thoughts on pulling a main cap and connecting rod cap?

Belly pan off. Let’s see if I can get the k-member off today. Side note- does anyone have a link or a part number for the rivets that are on the front splitter. Missing a couple and most a ground down.

Could the sound be the corsa extreme exhaust?

Fully aware warranty companies as insurance companies are not in the business of paying claims. so next steps are to try and get the oil pan off tomorrow just to know for myself. If anyone knows a way to post a longer video where I could get the sound from under the car above let me know...
