Had mine done last week. It was supposed to only take a day but it ended up taking two. The service advisor said that they've only done a few so it took a while to make sure everything was done right. All seems to be working as fine as when I dropped the car off.

I have the same exact issue. Figured it had to do with the exhaust but I wasn't 100% sure. I'll try sliding the tips out further to fix it. Mine looks a bit more severe, unfortunately.

I actually just noticed yesterday how my windshield has been accumulating a lot of chips in it. It's by far the weakest windshield I've ever had on a car. I'll have to look at that thread too.

Yeah that's what I'd recommend. When I swapped out mine, it was just a large solid piece. Definitely too wide to fit in the trunk, plus you don't want to mess up your interior.

That's a good point, I didn't consider a focused reflection off the polished tip. That's most likely what caused it. No way to really avoid that unless I put little covers over my tips haha Though parking in the shade probably makes more sense.
