I was essentially in the same boat as you. I got the 6 year, 100k mile warranty.

I definitely didn't want to void anything so I just stuck with putting on a catback exhaust for now. It's a safe mod, but definitely check with your dealer since some can be really stupid about it. Just keep the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act in your back pocket since they'd have to prove your catback exhaust caused whatever issue you're trying to get fixed through the warranty.

The warranty I bought is a Ford warranty. The mods which are a Ford exhaust and a Ford Racing tune, both dealer installed is what I'm looking at.

The Ford Racing tune is sold by Ford Racing. Ford Racing is not Ford, your engine won't be covered under the warranty you bought if you tune it (and get caught). Ford Racing provides a supplemental warranty with their tunes that's 3/36k if I remember correctly.

Of course, it's all speculation until they actually release something, but that's how it's worked in the past.
