Paxton Supercharger 3.6 pulley, JLT CAI, Stainless Power 1 7/8" headers with cats, Vortech Max flow fuel pump booster, ID 1000 injectors 170* Tstat, 93 octane Lund tuned. Motor being built currently with Wiesco pistons, Manley Rods billet opg, etc
Baseline numbers on top was JLT and...
$125, buyer pays shipping, local pickup preferred/takes priority (Southeast NC). JLT CAI that came off my 2015 GT. Zero issues, I am selling because I have a Paxton now.
Buyer will need to pick up two hose clamps to connect rubber coupler since I reused them, and also the two screws for the...
Exactly what he said. I trapped 129.7mph and didn't drive it to full potential when I took mine to the track. You have a similar setup to me, so I'm sure your car will do the same or better at the track depending on how you drive
I have the Mickey Thompson ET II 305/35/20. They are a little rough in the rain. They hook every time in dry weather regardless of what gear I'm in. 1st will get a little crazy in the upper rpms. I have a Paxton though, not whipple so I'm sure the power builds differently. The NT555R is also a...
Here's a vid from inside my car with the windows down of me driving it hard for a data log. Ive gotten a billion compliments on how it sounds. As said, cruising, no drone, a little deep, and you can tell not stock. Open it up and it'll sound just like the name of it says "Mach Thunder". video...
My car has Solo Performance Mach Thunder, SP long tubes with cats. It's pretty loud, but once I put that Paxton on the tone changed and it's an absolutely perfect combination my opinion. No drone at all, under normal driving its louder than stock, but not obnoxious at all, under WOT it's an animal.
Dang man, hope it's something simple. I was reading the instructions on how to set the timing on the coyote the other day, it sounds like it could easily be mistimed when going back together. I just ordered MMR opg for my new motor yesterday, but didn't get the crank gear
The decision has been made, I got a little bit lucky today.
Someone had the motor pulled out of his '16 5.0 in order to do a full twin turbo build and he went with a new race block(don't remember which one), etc. his block had very low miles and no issues. They're going to build that block...
I've used both. No complaints, like someone said earlier, you can't go wrong either way. I like buying with lethal because they give you loyalty points and you can use them on future purchases for a discount. Plus always had fast shipping.
Well, I have the engine to the point where it can be yanked out. I'm just waiting for the shop to get time for me to be able to get it done. I was going to let them do everything, but I'm trying to save money and time being they told me it'd be months if they're going to do it all, plus I'm...
That link helped me out. I think I'd go with the 10:1 Livernois has if I go that route. I had gotten all of the information on the ford shortblocks already. They're significantly cheaper
Do you or anyone have a link to the shortblock so I can check out the pricing. I've got all the info to go with a 2015 oem shortblock, id like to compare.
Also an update, engine will be ready to come out by tomorrow/next day
Got a good chunk removed in 2 hours today.
Questions for any of the experts out there-
Will the engine come out with Long tubes attached, or will I have to remove them prior to it coming out?
Can I pull the motor without dropping the transmission?
It's at the top of my list for shortblocks. I'm beginning to pull the motor today so I can send it up for them to open it up and see if the stock stuff is reusable. So far I'm looking at just upgrading all of the internals, depending on the cost of that, if it's close to what a short block...
