Got the car back from rarefab. New clutches and valve body. Cooling mod. Trans runs super cool. Made three passes before needing a long cooldown instead of one pass. Clicked off a 9.97 letting off at the finish.

Put another 200 miles on car. No codes, no funny shifting, no issues. Still going to rarefab but so weird.

Previous owner had paramount build it. Since I’m not near them anymore or the one who paid them, I’m going to hope rarefab can make it all better and give me a solid starting point.

yeah this is a brand new rebuild. Less than 1k miles. Had upgraded clutches and new valve body put in.

Didn’t know anyone made an intermediate shaft but clutches have already been upgraded.

You should be at 950 ish if e85. That’s some serious power. I’m at 930 on 4.13 pulley.

Since I have a d1x and similar combo, is the procharger crank support best option to prevent failures? I have been looking at the MFP option.

Any recommendations for track only insurance? I want collision coverage while at the drag strip. Not worried about fire so much.

VMP told me 20 horsepower but I don’t think anyone has actually tuned one on e85 yet. So just speculation
