I use a dewalt 1/2 inch. Works great. do you have any battery operated tools now? Might be cheaper to spend more on tool but avoid buying new batteries.

I have straight cut and honestly never notice it except at idle when standing in front of car. I guess if you have factory exhaust you might notice.

I bought through granger. Initially refused but they said it covers my motor and trans etc even if modified with a blower. I was and kinda still at skeptical but they said call them direct if anyone issues. Hopefully I never need it though.
