Ok installing my shift light tomorrow, and I have never been a fan of revving a motor to far passed the peak torque rpm. But I have no clue wtf that is lol.. I thought it was around 6800? I am installing cat deletes in a week or so to and that should change the RPM I would shift at right? Any...
ok update.. finished the install. I lossened up the rear sub frame bolts about 5 turns. got a little bit more room but still not enough. The easiest way for me to get these front bushings in was to put the bolt into the washer and bushing BUT the end (non head end) is FLUSH with the part of the...
Ya I can see that.. I know the bolt, washer and bushing would all need to up there at once, but FAWK that's a tight and nearly impossible spot to reach without dropping the rear bolts too. Still have to have room to get a torque wrench in there. I have the correct bushing in the front, the...
I think I am just going to loosen the rear 21mm bolts so the entire sub frame will drop. I honestly don't see ANY way these front bushings can be installed without more clearance. The ONLY thing that I could think of is that my car wasn't level on the jack stands (In The rear) and it was...
ok.. so I got my trans bushing installed and the shifter bushing installed, both easy.. I decided that I got the rear diff bushings figured out so:
1. Invest in ratcheting wrenches, you will need them!! Specifically the 18mm and the 7/8".
2. REMOVE EXHAUST or you will be under there...
I've just learned to get used to it. Seems like some cars have it more than others. I was wondering if it was strategy code thing, because a couple of the other guys with it I have talked to have the same as mine or closed to it, but that's probably not it. ?
Good luck getting rid of it with an aftermarket tune. I have had 2 different tuners now, and both tunes still have hanging revs. Lunds tunes still have the hanging revs as well. If you search here and over on SVT, you will find a couple different people that have different companies tunes...
I printed out your post, and I will get under the car this evening when I get home and see if I can understand Steeda's and your instructions and get them installed along with a couple other parts.
Have a Raptor shift light I'm wanting to install. I know which coil wire to use, and a good ground obviously, just curious if anyone has found a good keyed 12v wire to use. Any suggestions? I don't care to lay down there with a test light sifting through wires if I don't have to (LAZY) lol...
Can anyone that has installed these post a couple pics of the front and rear? I THOUGHT the rear seemed pretty straight forward to install but it was the front with 2 bolts for each bushing that made it confusing? I was wanting to get under the car this evening and see if I can figure it out and...
That your unhappy with? I have a brand new set of Steeda Progeressive springs that I haven't installed yet, that are still in the box, brand new, and I think I want to be lower then what these will put me at. looking to trade even up possibly if I cant return them.
Eibach Sportlines they want to trade for a brand new never installed set of Steeda Progressive springs? Decided I want to go lower then these springs I thing.. These are a 1" drop in the rear and 1 1/8" drop in front I believe.
