Thanks! Read through it and I still don't know wtf springs I want lol. I drive the car on the street, there is no drag strip, I do the occasional street/hwy race, I love to cut up the curves though and I would like to maybe take this car to an auto cross event or two MAYBE but its possible that...
:lol::lol:
I was pulling my coil pack covers off the other day and noticed that the hose that is on the passenger side of the car (PCV hose I thing.. where a catch can would normally be) had leaked oil down the valve cover to where I couldn't even see it anymore so I'm SURE it has also run...
I have no clue, that's just what my tuner had told me, and I guess what someone from Lund had mentioned to someone else having that same problem. I don't THINK my stock tune had it, but I could be wrong. The other guy I'm talking about didn't have the problem with his stock tune. Personally I...
Hey I'm a noob too.. apparently you want the end link 100% vertical or as close to straight up as possible it appears ..... from what I have read in this thread.
Well apparently there are a few customers (only two that know of) that have had the hanging RPM issue with the Lund tune. My tuner isn't Lund and I have the same problem. I'm not sure if they are Lethal customers or Beefcake customers or anything as I didn't ask, but was stated that its Lund...
the end link mounting bracket that Ford uses from the factory is 90 degrees from the mounting bracket that OP is talking about.. they are both on the strut already.
that is awesome lol.. I was watching the install of the CJ pony parts springs and saw the 2nd bracket OP mentions mounted about 90 degrees counter clockwise of where Ford mounts the other end of the end link. I will be doing this soon.
hmmm I don't have harsh roads around here, I don't DD my car either, I do however like to cut up the twisties and MIGHT end up taking on a road course at some point. I was planning on the Pro-kit again because I liked how they TOTALLY got rid of that nose up when launching with a sticky tire...
So you drilled 1/2" holes 2" away from the stock hole locations in the sway bar AND you relocated the other end of the end link to an unused location on the struts?
I was planning on picking up a set of 1 7/8" LT's with an o/r pipe in a couple weeks but after reading this thread and hearing about all the tuners that are having problems being able to get around the torque management on these cars, I think I will just wait. I think its kind of crap that I see...
I LOVE my MBRP race.. I got it for $495 shipped for the aluminized version, then I just painted the entire system with 1400 deg high temp matte silver/aluminum. Some drone around 1700 but I can live with it as its not too bad.
My DIBlue base PP car with Recaros.. just like everyone else's, 20% tint, getting the windshield tinted tomorrow. Already has a tune, K&N drop in filter, Airaid CAI tube, MBRP race cat back exhaust, Steeda sub frame bushings. Ordering the Eibach Pro kit, BMR F&R sway bars, LT's and o/r mid pipe...
Are these going to be the same "directional" idea that the Vossens have that look like these so that all 4 wheels are pointing the same way? ANy 19's anytime soon and will the 19 fit the PP cars?
