I did my first oil change at 850 miles and hit 1000 on my way to the track in June. I torqued to 18ft/lbs at the first change. I had the car on the track for 2 hours of laps. I checked torque before leaving for my next track day in early August and there was no change in torque.
I'll be at Autobahn for the second time with my GT350 on August 8th with MVP. It's a good group to run with with excellent instructors for the novice group. I think there might be a few spots left.
I have a local salvage dismantler that specializes in Mustangs and was wondering if anyone knew if previous Shelby/Boss rim would fit on the front of a GT350. If they have a lone rim and tire I thought it might be a cheap way to have a spare for long road trips to the track.
Did you have telemetry on board? 125 is haulin on those straights! I was there 2 weeks ago with MVP and when I had the chance to look down I was in the 105-110 range. I have been to the track 6 other times in my '13 Boss, but the GT350 TP is a whole other animal!
I was at Autobahn yesterday with sunny weather and temps in the mid-upper 80's. I started at 32 cold and would get to 36-37 hot. That seemed to get me a good wear pattern on the tire.
If there is no CEL on, will they be able to diagnose anything? I doubt it will do it for them when I need it to! I had my Boss misfire at the track, but it would show a CEL until the battery was disconnected. It was probably happening because I hit the rev limiter. It was a known problem, and a...
I only take off from 1st. When it does happen, it seems like it is usually when I am pulling into the garage. My Boss is up on a 4-post lift and I have to pull the GT350 in beneath it...so I have to take it slow.
I'm not talking about vibrations, noises, etc coming from the motor or chassis. The motor occasionally stumbles...almost like it isn't getting gas when I touch the gas pedal.
I have about 750 miles on my Track Pack so far. I only run 93 octane in it. I have noticed several instances of the car stumbling when taking off from a stand still. It isn't a case of not working the clutch right, it is a stumble (kind of like what can happen with a carburated car). It almost...
