The car has been for sale since mid-April. I saw the owner at a cars and coffee and jokingly said that I would trade him my '13 Boss and '16 Shelby for it...he wanted to "talk". This guy isn't afraid to hold onto his cars for a long time.

That car is about 2 miles from my house. I made him an offer to trade my '16 track pack with 2000 miles on it plus cash and they gave me a bunch of reasons why the car is worth $20k over MSRP....even though it is used! I want to track it, so I could care less when it came off the assembly line...

Thanks for the replies. I measured on the opposite side of the wear indicator (the back side of the caliper). I have 4-5mm total pad remaining.

Anybody know how thick the pads are to start?

Of course, I leave everything to the last minute. I have a track day 1 week from today that will give me 6 20 minute sessions on a 3.6 mile track. I have been there 6 times in my Boss, and have yet to change out the pads. My GT350 has been there twice (4 hours on the track) with 2500 easy street...

I'm in the same boat. My '16 has been tracked 2 times (12 20 minute sessions on a 3.6 mile course) and I am considering swapping pads. I'm not sure if my pads have a couple more hours on track left in them. I also have 2600 street l on them as well.

I have Schroth ASM and a HANS for track days. A front impact is much more likely (IMO) than a roll over...that is why I wanted to be able to use a HANS. I also wanted to be planted better in my seat.

We'll see how the EcoBoost handles the load. I like the looks of the new 3/4 tons.

What is everybody adding to their enclosed trailers for track days? I have a 26' Aluminum Haulmark that I will be using this year. I just purchased a 9000# winch, but looking for ideas about fuel containers, spare tires, tool boxes, etc for track days.

Yes, outdoor temp sensor. It is held in place with a push pin. If I remember right, all you have to do is remove the sensor from its base and then turn it 180 and reinstall without the base.

What is more likely on track: A significant head-on collision with a guard rail, or a roll over? I'm playing the odds and have the same belts in my GT350 that I use along with a Hans II.

I haven't looked yet, but is the belly pan held on by rivets or bolts? I have a lift in my garage, so I plan on doing the tow hook install myself as well.

You are gonna have the dealer install? I just ordered front and rear hooks and my car was recalled too. I installed the front and rear Blowfish Racing hooks on my '13 Boss....not too hard.
