It's a roller currently. Formerly had a high RPM 306/C4 that was pretty fun. It's actually my cousins car. He's finishing up his 92 Silverado 5.3 turbo build while I put my C5 back together. Once those are done the plan is to pull the 347 out of my fox and put it in the 68. TBD on trans(he...
Thats a really great one. I think the camparo with the Z28 was even better however.
Slightly off topic but this is still my favorite GT350 vid of all time. It checks all the boxes and can definitely be used as proof for people asking, "what makes this car so special" in a short format.
Agreed, I would have loved to have an iconic car. Only found one, and they wanted above MSRP when I got mine for under. I'm totally happy with it but there are a ton of magnetics cars.
Those single year colors are special
and the NVH concern is what made me go FP for the springs. This car will be off the lift for a few months while one of the other projects gets attention, and I wanted the stance to be on point since all I can do is look at it and roll it around the garage...
Being local, you're more than...
The Steeda's were under consideration too. Honestly, I had a hard time even just ordering these. This was going to be the car I finally wouldn't mod. I'm not saying the sways won't happen - but I'm ok spacing the small mods out and really getting a feel for them. I also really enjoy working on...
It was mid 50s(I have a firm 50* rule for taking the Shelby out) here yesterday but there's so much road treatment down still the car is better off staying on the lift.....so I changed the oil instead.
For those that can, post pics of the cars out for the rest of us.
Or even just a blow dryer.
Heat up the base of the shifter knob, turn a 1/4 thread, warm it up some more, another 1/4 thread and it will get easy from there...
Work slowly, use heat and your bare hands and you wont destroy your nice factory shift knob
Late to the party here but I used Carbon Force a few months ago.
It is not "grabby" on the first coat but was definitely hooking up on coats 2 and 3
It does not rainbow or flash so you've got to be super focused and methodical. I had to polish out a few high spots, it wasnt a big deal. Just...
I find the Quickjacks to be a solid option. Even with a 2 post lift, I wouldn't mind picking up a set if the price were right just for the ease of use and convenience.
The lifts in question just look like they turn your car into a see-saw. Fundamentally, I just don't see the point.
