This was me. :) I installed the Steeda strut brace and those are the aftermarket nuts it came with. The nuts have the white plastic inside. Steeda say 35lbft for the torque and I'm going to redo the fitment today.

Thanks. Its coming off tomorrow, I'll pop a washer underneath to fill the small gap on the inner coloured ones, due to the extra brace. I'll then use two washers on top so that it doesn't dig in when I tighten it up. That should hopefully then torque down properly without it going on and on. 👍

Thanks not a bad idea. I guess thinking about it I should look at putting a washer underneath to fill the void, that might allow the nut to troque down correctly. I dare not go any tighter as you say, it is thin. At least there is no chance of it working loose. :)

I think I might just replace the discs and pads and see how that goes. I'm guessing nothing people on here have seen before, so hopefully it's just the discs causing the slight lag with the pedal. :like:

I've used EBC Yellowstuff pads on past high performance cars I've owned, no track use mind. Only street. For street use they are spot on. Great bite and good coefficient of friction and easy to bed in (100-200 miles). Dust wise I'd say middle of the road. Not light like some, but not too...
