Makes you wonder if Ford should sell aftermarket light weight parts. I mean the Abarth 695 with its tiny bonnet now has an aluminium one, to save weight! hah! Imagine if the Mustang bonnet was light weight, I'm sure that would save 100KG right there. It weighs a bloody a ton! :D
But yeah...
If it helps just re-reading the manual here for my 2018 GT.
It says under capacities and specifications for the 5.0L, either 5W-20 (WSS-M2C948-B) or 5W-30 (WSS-M2C913-D). Both are listed. It even says for temps below -30ºC (-22ºF) use 0W-20 (WSS-M2C947-A).
I use 5W-30. Gives a bit more...
Yeah puddle lights and heated. You are right. To be honest I don't have a problem with the Euro size, I don't think I'd like that whole "objects appear larger" text in the mirror. Is that still a thing in US? One thing I wish I had is BLIS. Would come in useful with the reduced visiblity of...
A few little jobs today that I've been itching to do. Can you believe the struggle to find an activated charcoal pollen / cabin filter here in the UK. Could not find one at all - in the end I had to order from Autodoc in Germany. Finally arrived the other day so I set about fitting it today...
I personally wouldn't use a US tune as well due to the petrol differences. Seems state side petrol is really poor with regards to rating? Would I be unfair in saying that? I'd prefer a tune that was specifically tailored for 99 RON. Or at least 95 (standard) upwards.
I finally managed to get my Rokblokz fitted - just the fronts for now as the weather isn't the best for working outside. So I'll do the rears at some other point.
Also managed to catch a break in the weather to get a coat of Fusso King of Gloss applied yesterday. Should last a good few...
Oh man! Now that sucks. 😩 I do worry about the alloys all the time, especially these "custom pack 3" wheels as they are forged and not standard cast alloys. I think direct from Ford they cost around £750 each!
Ah OK, understood. Thanks for that. 🙂
Valve stem all replaced today. And for some reason they also re-balanced the wheel. Cost me £20 all in total. But, it is fixed. Wasn't best pleased having to then go out in the rain to wash the wheel as it was so dirty from their greasy hands. 😋
Ah ignore question 3 and 4. Steeda have them listed and also says they need coding.

I wonder if I should get all 4 replaced at my local Ford dealership and then charge the alloy wheel company for the one that...
Hey all
So I was out cleaning the glass on the GT when I heard a faint hissing. I thought "please don't let it be a puncture" as these Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres are practically brand new! Now... I've just had the alloys refurbished and when I was checking for a puncture I noticed that...
Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone have any pics of the Hurst rear spoiler? I'd quite like to get that for mine. I did a quick search but couldn't see any mention. 🧐
I ordered the Steeda H-Pipe over here in the UK. I've had to wait for stock arriving from across the pond. Man, boats are sooo slow! 😄
The quality is fantasic though. Can't wait to get it fitted to my GT with Active Exhaust. I've been watching a lot of videos whilst waiting for it to...
Hey all, just signed up to say thank you for this amazing thread. Picked up my 2018 GT a few weeks ago here in the UK. Noticed straight away, jerking when I select drive. Like being hit from behind. And jerky shifts in drive for 2-3 up shift and 4-3 down shift. Car has roughly 18k miles on it...
