@WD Pro sorry taken so long to reply but I forgot I had an underside pic on my phone. Looks to me like there is no stuff applied... As far as I can tell. 🧐
If I'm in a rush, I just use Autoglym Instant Tyre Dressing. A few sprays onto an old microfibre and a wipe round. I then leave it for a little bit and do a second pass. I wouldn't say it was amazing gloss or amazing longevity but it does the trick for a few days. I might check out the Koch...
+1 for the CeriGlass with the necessary pad. Did this job a a good few months ago on mine. I had a little spray / sprtiz bottle of water to keep misting the compound and just took my time. Takes a while with medium pressure but it does work wonders. It removed the film / coating off my...
Is this easy to do / have any pics? Seems like a pretty inexpensive mod to improve the rear end. I have the Steeda IRS package, bracing and vertical links. Always looking for more! 😁
Thanks.
Not a lot. Car goes in for MOT on Saturday. My brake discs and pads are on back order until next month. I'm waiting on Vortech to send me the missing template for the Supercharger kit and waiting on the RTD+ devices to come in and ship. Totally bored lol. 😂 Oh I lie, I wiped some bird poo...
Ah OK interesting thanks for that. Yeah I see people on here with 305/35 and I just wonder how they therefore get away with it. If that makes sense. I'd have to do some further research.
Yeah there is more choice moving to a 35 profile too, but I popped the details into a tyre calc and it said not recommended due to the percentage difference over stock. I guess it means for the speedo. No idea if that is illegal or not.
Yeah good suggestion. I already have the full steeda IRS kit. (IRS bushes and rear bracing). I also have their billet rear vertical links. Is there anything else I can do for the rear?
Car isn't lowered but I was trying to stay away from that.
Hey
I seem to recall that you can "plus 10" on tyre width in the back of my mind. At the moment I have 255/40/19R up front and 275/40/19R on the rear. Standard custom pack 3 forged 19" alloys. Would I be right in thinking the widest I can go is therefore 265/40 front and 285/40 on the rear...
Spark Plug gaps sorted. Just bought the gear from Amazon. Worked really well. :like:
Also went to local Ford dealer today and picked up x2 sump plugs (will keep one spare as they are always a special order item) in readiness for oil change. I bought 10l of Shell Helix Ultra AF 5W-30...
Oh just heard back from NGK in UK. Here is what they said:
"6510 is factory gapped to 1.1mm (0.43''). There is no minimum gap setting for any plugs, but generally it is best to utilise as larger gap as possible. You can only go by what tuners and owners are saying works in their vehicles.
You...
Thanks for the replies so far. I've reached out to NGK just to see what they say. I'll check with Wengerd as well, good idea, when the time comes. I'm currently leaning towards trying 0.032" (0.8mm). I've ordered a gapping tool and feeler gauges. :like:
I know this has been covered a lot, I can see by the many search results I got back, but I'm so confused. 😆 I was trying to find out the gap for the NGK 6510 plugs to use with my Vortech supercharger which is coming next week (thank you @beefcake!!!).
Some posts mention 0.30" - 0.35" (this...
