The highlighted text above is what I am looking for answers on. I've heard these devices cannot download/save "house tunes (e.g., not aftermarket tune from a tuner kit)". What that would mean is if you have a "house tune" with the complete kit you cannot get an aftermarket tune ever.

Thinking bout going that route too. Is there emissions testing in OH? If so have you taken it in and passed yet?

NP. Never seen a 50 state legal turbo kit. I'd be interested in one of those too but just can't take that kind of risk with 7 grand +/-. Read something the other day that at 5000' you lose 1-2lbs of boost.

Its the exutive order number given to aftermarket parts certifying california's air reasource board (CARB) has approved it.

Does it really take over 1000hp to run in the 9's. I'm far from a drag racing expert, but seems like at that power level you would be in the 8's or less.

Any supercharger with CARB certification and EO # will be good to pass emissions. Everything else is a gamble.

Tuning changes a lot of perameters. I think the most important for emissions are the rediness monitors. If the tuner changes these you might fail. Im not saying you will fail but no gaurentees.
