Anybody come up with a solution for the diff whine after installing the new bushings? Its starting to bother me. Even contimplating trying to get the stock bushing reinstalled.
I don't have any supercharger at the moment, but may be able to get a good deal on a ford racing one. Just don't want the 627hp tune if that is all that is available.
Whipple is on my list but im also interested in other alternatives. 1/4 mile times with Whipple kits seem off which is partly why im not sold. Id like the car to run 10's on a good street tire. I dont care about power figures as long as it gets me into the 10s.
We go every year too, but not going to return a supercharged car to stock every year to pass obdii. Clearly im not as sure as you are. Love to know if you do pass. What kit do you have?
Im kinda shocked that there are no responses from people who have tuner kits. Guessing there has to be a lot of them on this forum. Maybe they are scared to post or something ;)
Reviving this thread. So has anyone with tuner kits passed emissions. Im talking a set like lund tune, id 1000 injectors, intake, bap, different pulley, etc. None of the previous post said yes or no.
Thanks
Would a whipple stage 2 put me in the 10's with the following
1. 285/19 street tires
2. Catback exhaust only
3. 93 octane
4. 3.75 pulley
5. All the stuff in my sig.
Thanks:thumbsup:
Few questions...
So 3.8 pulley, no BAP, and the 47lb injectors that come with the kit, and stock exhaust?
Does the 5400 you spent include the Lund tune?
When you say base kit, is the complete kit that includes everything?
Thanks. All really helpful info!
