It does make a difference. I've had my mod on for a few months. It's posted in here many pages back. Driver seat no longer heats up and you can feel coolness on the seat continuously.

It's hard to tell from the picture but I think that is an entirely different peltier unit. The instructions do say install the new blower motor. Glad to see some progress. Maybe by next summer ours will be fixed.

It will cause the bottoms to also not work if disconnected. So there is no point in disconnecting just the back. It has been tested.

^yes the air blows across both sides at the same time. The air is cooler out the exhaust while not in the seat. The air was also cooler out the exhaust when I had the mod installed. Sent from my VS986 using Tapatalk
