  1. So, what's after the first run?

There was a lot of hype on the Bosses when I bought my GT. Very similar IMO. Besides Ford made a one hour documentary on the Boss. The GT350?
  2. Engine Bay Photos

    Preproduction R.
  3. Engine Bay Photos

Latest photos show oil separators on both sides.
  4. 2016 Shelby GT350 at MSRP! Can Still Configure!

A big thanks to shelby_r for the heads up on this. This deal is locked and loaded with an expected production date in January 2016. Race red with track pack and car cover. No stripes or black roof. This car will have an R wing and splitter on it before the nubs are worn off of the tires...
  5. Road Trip

Yes road trip straight to the track.
  6. 2015 GT350 Opportunity

All 2015's have already been built.
  7. Who's going to Shelby Sonoma Mini Nats

This one should be at Sonoma this weekend for the NorCal Shelby Mini Nats.
  8. MSRP GT350

The selling dealer handles everything and the receiving dealer handles the deliver prep and a bit of paperwork. Selling dealer collects their sales tax and you pay the difference when you take delivery. Selling dealer also collects the courtesy fee and receiving dealer gets paid by the selling...
  9. MSRP GT350

You can arrange a "courtesy delivery" from an out of state dealer to your local dealer if they will accept it. Ford does not charge for this but the receiving dealer will charge $500-1000 as they prep the car for delivery and handle some paper work. This is common practice so no need to ship...
  10. Don't destroy your R Wheels.

Yep and they aren't selling them to Mustang owners for $30K.
  11. Don't destroy your R Wheels.

I'm calling BS on that price. Ford is paying $5-8K a set max.
  12. If you get a "base" GT 350 without Magneride, what struts/shocks do you get?

I didn't say they weren't but to say the MR dampers are going to be more (or less) reliable than regular dampers is without merit and that's my point.
  13. If you get a "base" GT 350 without Magneride, what struts/shocks do you get?

The photo below are the MR dampers from a ZL1. I'm trying to figure out how they move up and down without moving? From your definition regular dampers don't have moving parts either. The washers and shims aren't moving but rather the fluid moves through them. Regardless both...
  14. If you get a "base" GT 350 without Magneride, what struts/shocks do you get?

I should have said lower and stiffer.
  15. Who's going to Shelby Sonoma Mini Nats

It's already been confirmed by NorCal Shelby that there will be at least one GT350 at Sonoma next weekend. Then there will be several cars at Laguna Seca the following weekend for the Historic races. There are no known events for following weekend but on the 27 and 28th they'll be at LS for...
  16. If you get a "base" GT 350 without Magneride, what struts/shocks do you get?

My bet is the lower R springs are going to be a popular mod on the other MR equipped GT350's.
  17. If you get a "base" GT 350 without Magneride, what struts/shocks do you get?

Note that race cars don't use the MR technology. It would have been easy for GM to add MR dampers to the Z/28 but they didn't. They excel for cars that are both street and track driven but they still aren't there for the true TraKWeapon. ;) I'd look at CorteX/JRi dampers in either the single...
  18. Actual Lap Times at Road Courses for GT350 & GT350R

Any head to head competition should be done with the same fresh tires. The Trefeo R's are faster than the Cup 2 tires so imagine what the time difference would be with the GT350R on Trefeo R's? For the record the GT3 comes standard with Cup 2 tires so that's apples to apples. No public video...
  19. Actual Lap Times at Road Courses for GT350 & GT350R

Just like in the Z/28 video below Ford is using a 991 GT3 for comparison. Oh and a Z/28 too. All three cars have been seen around Detroit including the black GT3 that was used. ;) [ame]
