If i've done my research correctly, converting to the GTPP belly pan, and the PP2 splitter would require both of these:
Valance Panel
Part #JR3Z-17D957-BA
Valance Panel
Part #JR3Z-17D957-CA
So far, every place i have round them wants to rape me on shipping ($200+). I looked on the Levittown...
Disconnected the center speaker, what an improvement! Also found that I’d somehow arrived at nearly the same settings. Would still love to hear your thoughts on the results of turning off the DSP.
it sounds to me like it’s proximity based like the fob. It allows the phone to essentially emulate a fob by emitting the same type (local) signal. It doesn’t seem like OTA would make sense because it wouldn’t work with no cell signal. Another bonus for some like me, no more carrying multiple...
My car behaved this way for a while. I installed a dash cam with a power box that would keep the cam running till voltage fell to 11.5v. That’s when it started. When I switched the box to cut off the cam at 12v, then problem went away. I think that there may be an intermediate power saving level...
ive solved this before by using a rubber safe lube spray (silicon lube) on the rubber seats for the springs. Sometimes slight movement of the rubber against metal will cause a creak.
Yes, they redesigned to fit the A10. Not knowing it wouldn’t work, I first tried the Steeda brace, but it contacted the transmission, and transmitted all engine vibration into the chassis, that was a nightmare. I droveit less than 3 minutes before doing a U-turn to take it off. I then ordered...
seconded. You really shouldn’t have to prove it to them yourself, but if you CAN prove to them that there is coolant in the cylinder then they’ll have to stop ignoring it.
FYI, outcome of mine was this: They pressurized the cooking system to 20 PSI, after an hour it had dropped to 12...
mid your coolant is disappearing, and it’s not on the ground under the car, then it’s getting in the motor or in the oil. Time for a compression test. Or, if your out of warranty and want to do yourself this is how I did it. I pulled the plug on the cylinder that was misfiring, put a towel over...
it actually should unlock when you touch the back side of the handle, even on the passenger side. After i installed a blackvue camera, i noticed mine wasnt working on the passenger side. I had the power box set to cut off at 11.5v. This would also often cause the car systems to go into a battery...
If its a vacuum controlled BPV, you'll need a BRA. Its basically a vacuum source that you can use to run a vacuum hose to the BPV. You'll also need a module to fool the computer into thinking the factory one is still plugged in. My Turbosmart included both, along with instructions for install...
How does your coolant look? If its the slightest bit low, ask them to let it sit for a day, and visually look for moisture. they can do that shining a flashlight in with the plugs removed.
I saw misfire on cyl4 in the first 1000 revolutions, but only after the car sat for 2 days or more. I had a tiny coolant leak into cyl 4, but it took 2 days to leak enough to cause the misfire.
You can find lots of interesting stuff on google...
