I'll add them to my watch list. So do you think changing mufflers alone will make a significant difference (I'm assuming axleback and mufflers are the same)? I'm still trying to learn exactly what each part of the full system affects the overall sound. That resonator quieted down everything...
Thanks, so much is preference. I want something with the tone of with the Borla resonator but much louder, thought the headers would get there but still too quiet. Looking at louder axlebacks to pair up with the resonator, anyone know if that will make much of a difference or not really?
Had FRPP Touring by Borla catback and thought it was great. Then added Kooks catted headers and it brought out some rasp. Bought the Borla resonator to quiet it down and it did. A lot. Inside I can barely tell I have exhaust even with the headers. This is way to quiet for me but wanted to show...
Well mine should be ready for pickup in a couple of hours! Ready to see how it sounds with headers. Wow this is quiet... Feels like I went back to stock. Have to start looking at more options again.
Forgive me if I asked but I couldn't find if you have headers? Glad to hear it was an easy fit and how it changed the sound. The shop I'm using just said it should be in earlier today and didn't hear after that but I don't have time to install until the 24th. I'm getting a bunch of Steeda...
I think the S-type can get pretty loud at times, much more on it in the search. I believe the Borla Touring is pretty quiet without headers. I would definitely keep in mind anything you get will be louder if you decide to add headers down the road.

It was ordered a week ago and they said 7-10 days to ship so sounds about right. Doing it with about 10 Steeda parts and don't have time for a couple of weeks so hopefully they get them out by then. Are you trying to quiet...
Buying the Borla Touring Axle back with and X-pipe = FRPP Touring catback. Too raspy IMO and I've got the Borla "mid-muffler" on order so I'm basically converting to the Borla Touring catback, hopefully.
