Your welcome.
Dragster - the other car we used had the Borla S-Type without headers and he said from that compared to putting it on with my headers it wasn't significantly louder (I thought it was going to be a bigger difference) and he liked it even more. Not sure how much this plays into it...
Alright put together some more combinations.
All have Kooks long tube catted headers, JLT intake & Lund tune
1. Kooks Headers, X-pipe, FRPP Touring Mufflers (too raspy)
2. Kooks Headers, Borla Resonator, FRPP Touring Mufflers (nice tone but really quiet especially inside)
3. Kooks Headers...
Thanks, sweet, I can only imagine the pype bomb with the x-pipe, had them on my radar to pair with the resonator. Hoping to get a chance to swap the S-Type mufflers on this weekend and go from there.
Nice! Glad to hear you got the tone. How much quieter is it in the cabin/outside? Use your phone lol, just really want to hear. I've actually got a couple of guys who might let me swap out my mufflers for the Borla S-Type this weekend so I really want to see how that comes out.
So I need to just buy an axleback and see how it goes. I'm down to these 3: Roush, Borla S-Type, or Magnaflow Competition. I've only heard the Roush in person and been very curious on how the Magnaflow compares as I've heard people say it's deeper but not sure if it's loud enough. Again...
Borla website. I'm going to buy either the roush or Borla s type axleback (probably roush in a couple weeks) to replace the frpp touring. I've heard plenty systems that sound great but without headers. Whenever most people show off their exhaust at meets its parked revs or low speeds so even the...
I was able to use the same Lund tune from my intake and exhaust to adding the catted hi flow long tubes. Still way to quiet for me but going to leave it for the drag tonight and road course next week then probably add roush axle back. Would like to test a sport exhaust so there's no cutting but...

Just another option. Bought this to get rid of the rasp with my Kooks catted headers and FRPP Touring by Borla Catback. It knocked everything down. There's no rasp but doesn't sound much louder then stock either. Going to...
Not a huge fan of the Atak but I almost put that I was going to see if I can find someone with a S type axleback to test them out lol. Been listening to all the axlebacks. Even harder to tell when there's none paired up with the Borla resonator, at least that I can find.
Don't have stock exhaust :/ started to keep OEM parts after that. Here's my quick breakdown and any input will help as I'm just guessing at this point. Bought FRPP Touring to have a quieter catback exhaust. It was a little too quiet but when I got on it, the volume got pretty nice, small rasp...
I'm looking at changing to the Roush axle back from my current FRPP Touring which I already swapped the x-pipe for the Borla resonator. So it sounds like the Roush axle back will go on the FRPP/Borla exhaust with a little more cutting? If so what would happen if I wanted to go back to the...
Basically wanting a volume level similar or a bit louder to the FRPP catback with catted headers but without the rasp. Wondering how Borla muffler with roush axle back would compare to the x-pipe touring. Or any other axlebacks with that combo. Couldn't believe how much the Borla pipe quieted...
