Question to the folks in here regarding timing advance....I'm running pure 93 from BP and averaging 30 to 31.5 degrees of timing advance (have seen as high as 32), knock count remains at -4 all the way to 8k, on lunds flex tune...he has no idea why/how the car is able to still request more...
Ive mentioned this before, and after a conversation with lund, we are convinced that the gt350 tb electronics being vastly different from the stock tb are to blame for the surging
Lund is still working out the kinks but states that somewhere in the inumerable parameters for the tb lies the cure...
Thats about what i was seeing tune only, after the gt350 (i know not a boss) and headers the highest peak ive recorded was 52.15 at about 7700, the average now that its hotter than all hell has been mid 50s to low 51
Long story short your flow numbers look fine
Im running the same setup you are, as well as heatshielded the box (dei wrap) and an airaid mit tube
No matter what i did i couldnt get velossa tech to fit flush so i just completely opened up the intake side of the grill (no honecombs at all) and it finally fit
Actually waiting on a silicone...
Im running the lund ff tune, and ive had the stock tb ported and polished, if i remember right it measured out to 84mm, and after testing the steeda against the stock box and realising more consistent and slightly better times with the stock box (pretty sure that difference was attributed to the...
Well finally got to the track yesterday (GT350 IM, stock TB, stock airbox, pypes catted headers) unfortunately I need some real tires, managed a 12.4 @ 119.5, 2.2 60ft, in 75 degree weather......my car is a PP car (3.73s) I'm shifting at 7700 almost topping out 4th through the traps (car will...
Just got my 20x10 axims mounted, currently running my tires from the previous staggered fitment 275 35 front and 305 35 rear and no issues with fitment at all, no spacer needed up front either pretty good clearance at the strut....i plan on running 285s all around when these are ready to be...
Since this thread popped back up, i should be able to produce new dyno results on saturday, unless the dyno is free tomorrow afternoon, with that said this will be a final glory run (i have added headers and the ported oe tb, mainly due to my time being real compressed i dont have the time i...
The passenger side will really try your patience, i uust installed these on saturday....have a flex head ratcheting 15, drop the starter, remove the motor mount, and jack the engine up as high as you can (watch clearance between the firewall and the imrc solenoids)
A cv style wobble for your...
With that said id look at long tubes, only because youre planning on a whipple, so the intake manifold would be a waste of your money....or maybe the cat deletes
Ive had my car show really low numbers as well due to the abs/traction control...it sometimes happens on the first pull or a couple pulls into a dyno session, best bet is to pull it
