Terminator2 Come on man near 200 on the dyno, whats the inherent risk...lol
Yeah im thinking 470 plus is doable on e85, just have to find a station or order a jug
I will say just the change to the 47lb injectors made a noticable difference in driveability and how fast timing ramps in (the 6 vs...
Ill update with dyno graphs, and slide by the shop at some point and do an overlay of all mods but here's a synopsis of my mods thus far:
Stock IM with tune and steeda: 392hp @ 6700
GT350 IM tune and steeda: 427 hp @ 7300
Added catted pypes long tubes: 445 @ 7300
Finally decided to tune...
Ive found that a majority of the surge is produced from the imrc open and closing loads as well as the normal (non OP) VCT mapped points....also taking the time to correct predicted throttle errors (pretty much what is written into the tune telling the ecu to expect x amount of flow at a given...
From jay tucker himself on the development:
Tuning was done by Brent Hughes of DTP Racing and it was pretty straightforward. He spent a few hours looking over the file and about an hour on the dyno,” Jay explained. “The stock mass air is about 105 mm, which for a naturally aspirated car is...
Essentially except the roush maf to tb tube is gt specific, and it also includes a reducer to run the stock tune...but remove it and it is the same diameter as the gt350 (105mm)
actually they worked quite well with the exception of the 2500-4000 rpm range, you will see the differences in the tune I sent you. (both intake and exhaust OP VCT)
their longtubes come with catted leads, I removed the resonator and had a local exhaust shop weld in a x pipe...but the pypes leads marry up to the stock catback...so I do still have that small bottle neck from the transition
BTW Kelly, looking real forward to putting my recent BMR suspension upgrades to use when the track opens back up....awesome products man
Sure Mods are as follows:
GT350 IM and TB
Roush 105mm MAF breathing through the Airaid intake box and filter, connected to the TB via a 4" aluminum pipe...
Optimum power....instead of using the standard mapped points VCT angles this is a WOT vct angle table, the 11-14s had this enabled stock, the 15 and up dont but its a simple change in the tune to enable it
As promised
Runfile 4 is my first dyno (tune and cai)
Runfile 8 is my last dyno run (forgetting to enable OP)
Runfile 20 is by latest and greatest with OP enabled and minor massaging of the VCT
94HP gain at the tires at my new power peak (7300 rpm)

So far so good, just left the dyno, car picked up 33 ft/lb by enabling OP mode, I'll post the dyno graph shortly
Terminator2 I'm going to send you my final tune...car had a couple hp left in it, I was was nearing the bottom of the tank and pretty sure the fuel there is mostly trash and water...
Terminator2 just looked over the tune you sent...the vct angles you have were something i was looking at implementing as well...ill give it a go and see how she does...also found that my cylinder pressure limits in ignition were also holding back available timing so i modified those tables as...
