It can be 10 months down the road look at the weather conditions and all results are standard no sae.....no being defensive just informative....there was a 2 degree difference 58 for the gt350 60 for today and a 10% humidity change 30 for the gt350, 40 for today, and baro was within 200ft of...
I'll know 100% if thats the case when I redyno, I'm going to install a bored TB and dyno then install headers and dyno again....it's getting costly to keep you fellers in the know...tax time balling right now..lol
That and probably finding flow limits of the stock cams...those are on my short...
looking at previous datalogs up to this point, spark and cam timing has remained pretty consistent between the 2 pulls as well, although my car is adding another degree here lately, I guess my local station is getting a less wintery blend
Also, air velocity or lack thereof can affect torque output.
all of my initial pulls were done in 4th, for whatever reason, thats why I did the initial hit in 4th today to show a true comparison between the 2, the single dyno run was done in 5th to show the difference in dynoing in 4th and 5th
As promised: (all runs still on 93 octane, as I dont have ready access to e85)
4th gear pull comparing gt350tb to OEM:
5th gear pull:
I think with the ported oem throttle body the pull will continue I'll know for sure this time next week, which will include the optimized stock tb as well...
No need for the funds, im doing it to better educate the community, consider it a donation on my behalf...also by this time next week ill have a followon dyno session with headers and optimsed oe tb (look up maxbore.com)
But luck is on my side as im off tomorrow so as long as the dyno is car...
Regarding around town...the car has still surprised me a few times, went for a third gear pass on some one on the highway and the ass end came out hard..wife got pissed and i may have pinched a hole in the seat....but the power still exists with my current setup no real reduction in anything...
Car drives like stock now, except for the pulling power up to 7800, im gonna try a redyno tomorrow if my schedule allows....but the car still has the same head of steam all the way to 7800 (my current limiter
Yes by running the stock tb, and ill eeiterate the flow numbers are as good if not better than the gt350 tb, i plan on doing another dyno to confirm if there were any changes in peak power, ill be sure to update this thread with that info
Im running cooper zeon rs3 305s out back, our local track has been closed for the winter so no track times yet, i have a pp car so 1st was already questionable now its useless on the street, as well as 2nd, i get a hard roll into 3rd and similar going into 4th, i will say on the freak 70 degree...
Yeah, i'm currently running the stock tb with a mmr adapter until this get hammered out, my wife was a little upset that my new car that i promised i wouldnt modify was "jerky"...but i have datalogged and ensured all parameters were as close to my best datalog on the gt350 tb, and the oem tb...
