my intention was to make one more pass for consistency on the launch and not miss second gear and hopefully get another 11.49. and then drop pressure down to 10psi but my clutch said f*ck around and find out and i wanted to drive home so i let it cool down and limped it home
Update - stock struts viking rear best settings 12c16r tires 15-16 psi to keep from breaking traction on the 1-2 shift. didn’t get to try lowering pressure before smoking my clutch. believe the video is of the 11.60 run before getting everything dialed in and it spin about half a rotation.
local track is closed for the season but driving 2 hours for the track people say you gain .3 on just because it’s nicer and prep is on point next saturday
they don’t have dates probably because not for highway use but lot number maybe cv49. they were on back order and rooks weeks to get so i’m sure they are new
easier said than done when the local track is only open for test and tune one night for 5 hours every other weekend so runs are limited and frustrating when factory shocks were figured out to get multiple 1.65-1.66s and you spend $600 to go 1.7s
I meant updates from the OP on what setting were working for them or anybody else that’s been having success. obviously my starting point was wrong so i was hoping for a better start point next time at the track.
