This is me, I have it as well. I couldn't figure out what it was, but it looks like oil. I also thought it's a water leak when I use my pressure washer to wash the car - maybe? I'm too lazy to take it in and watch them take apart everything that a little wipe fixes.
On FP it says Country of Origin USA I don't know what's ford doing selling these the way they are and screwing M1 owners. I think @shogun32 said oversupply which could be right.
