Agreed, except for the 1.7's with stock tires, the Goodyear all weather tires are horrid but awesome in the rain!
I need to post the video of mine breaking loose at the staging lights... still managed to get them ready before the 3rd bulb and cut a 1.9 60.
I watched a lot of Camaros...
Only good thing about those tires are, you don't need to bake them so do a short burnout outside the water box, DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH IT with street tires, the front tires will drag water all the way to the starting line, people can argue this but after 38 years of drag racing this is a truth...
Going to GLD in Union Grove Wisconsin tomorrow if the weather holds out, only 78f, not sure what DA will be, physically I believe they are 755ft, last run the DA was around 1500.
Still haven't found a place to test a 1/4 mile run with adv trac off but the car is driving otherwise perfect...
Heck, I'm complaining about going 12.2@114 with adv trac still on, I was supposed to go to the drag strip tonight but ended up working.
Hopefully weather works out next week for another attempt.
You don't have to be in S to use drag mode, in D it works fine, no need to paddle to 1st. Hold TC button for 6 seconds, set drag mode before you pull up to the burn out box, do your routine for cleaning or warming up the tires and TC/ADV Trac will stay off and drage mode will stay on.
I've...
UPDATE
Well, I reconnected the battery which killed my 11 year old iPod, it lasted a long time considering.
I couldn't find anywhere to open the car up all the way and I drove for nearly 2 hours. I did some short runs with Advanced Trac off and it was a different car. Every single time it...
I get compliments from everybody who sees it, Crimson is an incredible color. The dealer chipped the rear decklid lip on mine, they of course claim no way.
Agreed, 100%.
Doubtful, heads were at 205f, engine temp was normal, not sure why it won't display coolant temp.
Mine in drag mode shifted at 7700 or 7800 and like you the 1 - 2 shift and the back kicked out and hit hard, the rest until 7th were very firm and chirped until 4th. Sport mode...
I thought the taillights were photoshopped but apparently they're real but I don't see a reference to them in your post.
Where did you get them, I can't tell where I stand on them but I sure would like to find out!
EDIT: Are these the tailights...
93 octane and 58f out and only in the 6 to 7 shift? God I hope not. I'm taking it step by step, I'm going to reconnect the battery and turn off TC and then hold it down until Adv Trac turns off and give it another try.
I haven't data logged since my 2006 Mustang GT that I sold back in 2009 which I hooked through the hand tuner. I don't own a hand tuner yet and they are expensive for just this, but in the end I'll need one because I do plan a CAI and exhaust.
