  1. Digital Trends PP2 article/review

I wish I could have found a GT 350 for $55k. I would have joined that club just for the voodoo!
  2. Digital Trends PP2 article/review

My Mode allows you to save certain settings that you prefer, and select them via the mode switch. For instance, in normal mode, I switch to track exhaust, and sport steering, then I can save that combination as My Mode, which is the second toggle up after normal when activated. Pretty cool, imo.
  3. Mustang GT VS Corvette. Business insider.com

Oh noes! This reviewer doesn't know anything. He says the PP2 is fine for road driving
  4. Digital Trends PP2 article/review

Huh? You just trolling? I'm just pointing out that two of the things the author said are incorrect for the benefit of anyone who may be mislead by his statements. For clarification, you CAN select track exhaust in normal mode, and you can set custom parameters, which is called My Mode.
  5. What options to get?

The sound of the voodoo is intoxicating, but the 18 with active exhaust is pretty damn sweet too. Do yourself a favor and test drive one. It might make that $20k decision a little easier to make.
  6. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

How could i, that wasn't part of your class, and me know nuffin.
  7. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

Sorry, but I'm not a follower. You start presenting facts that align with reality, and I'll start listening. You yourself admit there's a flaw in your development process. "What's unclear is why they let Tech Pack 2.0 happen". As the answer for that isn't covered in your process, there is...
  8. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

Nope, I already got mine, I have no vested interest in what Ford does to it now.
  9. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

Oh okay, but the guy that just keeps beating the dead horse and giving us an education not based in reality, he's okay with you? Have a nice day!
  10. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

You can keep stating it until the cows come home, doesn't change the fact that Ford never said it was an all out track car, and it will continue to sell, as is, like hot cakes. Until that changes, Ford has no vested interest. Deal with it. BTW, the facts in this case don't really support your...

And that's why I opted for MR.
  12. What options to get?

If your goal is to go fast in a straight line, definitely, but then you also want the a10. If you prefer to push the limits of lateral acceleration, you can't beat a PP2 unless you go gt350 .
  13. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

Rules are for leveling the playing field, and I'm not competing against anyone
  14. What options to get?

    401a, B&O, active exhaust, PP2, FTW!
  15. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

Maybe I jumped to the conclusion, but I thought I read they had track testing time involved in optimizing the tuning specifically for this package. I.e., tracking, data logging, and tuning.
  16. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

Everyone will place their own value on things. If you want the best GT Car you can get for <$50k, look no further. BTW, seems like they had at least some high level support. The car has unique electrical systems tuning to optimize the 'added on bits'. Doubt all that engineering and testing...
  17. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

Show me that press release, because I missed it.
  18. Digital Trends PP2 article/review

The author should have spent a little more time with the owner's manual. Also, where can you get a Shelby for $55k? Were any base models even made? All the Shelby's I see are over $60k.
  19. PP2 real life pictures

I only have limited butt time in a PP1. It felt a little harsher around the edges to me, but not enough to keep me from ordering one, albeit with MR. The stiffer springs and sway bars initially turned me away from the PP2, but after finding few complaints about the ride in a gt350, I decided...
  20. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

I dunno Norm, think they definitely sprinkled some fairy dust on this car ;) I'm actually referring more to the people stating cup 2s suck for dd'ing. Within the limits of a uhp summer tire, they are perfectly fine. Just like a mud terrain tire isn't optimized for every condition, neither is...
