  1. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

I find it humorous that people without pp2s or cup 2s are gonna tell people with them how the work. Gotta love the internets.
  2. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

How's dry grip with the ps4s compared to the cup 2? Noticeable difference on the street?
  3. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

Funny, I've got about 1,300 street miles on my cup 2's so far and I think they perform great for a uhp summer tire
  4. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

If you go full tilt 401a, it was $54k MSRP iirc.YMMV :D Not my DD, so no winter tires for me either. Hell I may just continue to run cup 2s unless I hear something good about the ps4s on this car.
  5. What’s an authentic Mustang wheel?

Nothing that ever came on a mustang, but made famous on a mustang by a movie, elanor style wheels. http://vintagewheelsus.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=48_55
  6. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

If we could have the ability to turn off traction control, stability control, and ABS, I'd be all over that, unless it was insanely expensive. For me, MR is perfect. My car will be 99.9% street driven at this point. No need to sacrifice ride for what I guess would be miniscule improvements in...
  7. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

And who's doing the dynamic control, epas, and MR tuning for you? And how much is that going to cost? You seem to be forgetting, the PP2 is an engineered package, from the electronics down, not just a bunch of parts bolted to the car. Where did Ford ever say the PP2 was intended to be a full...
  8. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

So aftermarket isn't optimized. Does it get the job done? There is a whole industry built around it. And warranty. Really? You're gonna risk wading up a $40-50k car on the track, and the lack of a warrantied part is going to stop you? These aren't very serious arguments against the PP2 imo. I...
  9. Road and Track Article on the PP2 - It's not a track car

Seems like everyone is missing the forest for the trees here. Ford gave us a car that's likely within spitting distance of a GT350 performance wise, save for some relatively inexpensive add-ons, for $10-25k less. Seems like a win for the mustang enthusiast in my book. The real question should...
  10. Top 10 worst reliability Report

Then you should educate yourself on the subject. It's irrational to believe that glancing over your shoulder, which takes a fraction of a second, has the same inherent risk as texting, which takes several seconds. It's much more likely you'll run into something beside you because you didn't...
  11. Top 10 worst reliability Report

I hope you are joking. Checking over your shoulder is not the same as texting, and in fact is an important safey skill. Search Shoulder Check, or Head Check, and read up.
  12. 2018 GT 6MT Grinding Noise When Releasing the Clutch

Find a new service manager. Modern transmissions do not require double clutching because they have synchros. https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a11646461/what-is-double-clutching-and-how-does-it-work/
  13. Germany tired of Mustang

These design cues existed LONG before that brand did. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:1962_Ferrari_250_GTE.jpg
  14. Rev match like the new Bullit?

Couldn't the gear be inferred from engine speed and road speed? Anyway, seems like rev matching could be computed from engine speed, road speed, clutch position, brake pedal position, and maybe wheel slip. Does anyone know for sure if the Camaro uses a gear position sensor for this feature?
  15. 2018 Mustang Manual vs. Auto--MotorTrend

Another benefit is you'll already have perfected the technique, so when you're 80 and your reaction time is measured in days, it won't be a problem.
  16. 2018 Mustang Manual vs. Auto--MotorTrend

The award for civility in the face of futility goes to Norm.
  17. A bit disappointed with my 17 GT PP

Are you running PSC2s on the street?
  18. 2018 Mustang Manual vs. Auto--MotorTrend

*fans flames* HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Nailed it. All my gearboxes imploded, caught fire, jumped out of the car, and buried themselves. Five times. Each. Didn't yours? Bump.
