  1. Finally! 19' PP2 Has Landed. It Begins...

Is that the GT350 track pack spoiler? How was the install? Any new holes required?
  2. 400A vs 401A Leather Seats

401a is worth it just for the padded and stitched center console and dash imo.
  3. Driving shoes - anyone have a specific pair they use for just driving?

For heel and toe work, addidas bounce. Light, flexible shoe with a nice wide sole. For cruising, flip flops. Hey, I'm Californian!
  4. What does your Mustang drink?

Shell 91, only because 93 isn't available in CA. Optimized for 93, why buy a performance car and then use 87?
  5. Need a truck, 5.0 or 3.5 EB?

From what I've been reading lately, the 2.7 eco doesn't give up much to the 3.5 where it counts, and gets even better mpg. Can't go wrong with that one either.
  6. Need a truck, 5.0 or 3.5 EB?

Yeah, I guess that's correct, and all the 200k + mile ecos are just flukes. Look, my opinion is based on my experience, not what I read into internet, or what my buddies, uncle's, dentist told him. I have a 2000 5.4 expy, and a 2001 5.4 f150, and I drove a rental 5.0 f150. I hate to tell ya...
  7. Need a truck, 5.0 or 3.5 EB?

The Ecoboost has no more problems inherently than any other engine. I mean, look at all the horror stories about the 5.0 on this site alone... Yet mine runs like a scalded cat. Still prefer the eco in the truck. It's a better truck engine if you actually use your truck like a truck. No $10,000...
  8. Senior needs help with "resetting" A10 transmission

You don't perchance, happen to drive with two feet, do you? Inadvertantly resting a foot on the throttle while braking, or unintentionally depressing the throttle while braking?
  9. "Were the back wheels coming around by themselves?" ...

Lol. Mine wants four point harnesses installed...
  10. Need a truck, 5.0 or 3.5 EB?

Actually looks like post #16? Per that chart, the 3.5 eco has negligible peak power (~3hp) over the 5.0, and has a 50lb/ft peak torque advantage, plus a 900 rpm lower peak and more area under the curve where the engine will spend it's time on the street.
  11. Do you like your S550?

You're f#$&?!* kidding, right? I haven't played with my fox or bikes since I got this thing a year ago.
  12. Need a truck, 5.0 or 3.5 EB?

3.5TT all the way. I have a 2018 xlt fx4 3.5 and two weeks ago had a similarly equiped 2019 Hertz rental with 4,500 miles and the 5.0... I now have zero regrets about buying the 3.5. The TT just feels like it has more torque every where it matters, and especially from a roll. The 5.0 just kinda...
  13. PP2 Registry

Lol. What was the price difference from a PP1 with magneride? $810? Nailed it.
  14. PP2 Registry

A quick tip-off would be the tire sticker in the door frame. Only the PP2 comes with 305/30r19 tires square.
  15. GT PP2 vs Bullitt

You'd still be missing the unique ABS and EPAS tuning of the PP2.
  16. PP2 Swaybar Data: Anyone Have It?

Part number sticker on the actual part...
  17. What oil do you use?

First oil change redline 5w-20. So far, knock wood, no oil change BBQ tick, and idle oil pressure appears to be nominally higher.
  18. Who will swap for the new 7.3 V8!

What's that saying about arguing with idiots... It's really disturbing that this is the most prolific thread on the site right now.
  19. GT PP2 vs Bullitt

@302@12psi your lack of tire spin is due to TC. If you have toggle modes, it's easy to tell when TC is cutting power, for instance, in a hairpin turn it's nearly impossible to induce throttle oversteer in normal mode, but in track mode, watch out.
  20. GT PP2 vs Bullitt

If you like to text, or eat ham sandwiches, or both, while driving, don't get a car with one foot wide front tires. The road will invariably have some input on your direction of travel unless it's in pretty good shape. If you are engaged in your drive, and maintain proper focus on the road...
