Tread lightly friend, I've already been admonished that the PP2 and 1LE are in different SCCA classes, so can't be anywhere near close in performance, and that a PP1 with stickier tires is basically the equivalent of a PP2 in handling.
Okay, explain it to me. Someone else buys what they love and they are a fanboy sheeple... But you buy what you love, and you're a 'car guy'. How's that?
BTW, for the record, I still never said I don't like Camaros. I just like mustangs better.
Valid argument, because we all know santioning bodies don't have their heads up their asses...
And apparently whatever an anti-fanboi is, they can't comprehend any kind of logic.
I didn't say the PP2 is perfect, or that the PP1 is inferior.
Let me ask you this; if you think a GT or PP1 is pretty much the equivalent of the PP2, then you also think they are pretty much the equivalent of the 1LE?
No need to. I'm perfectly happy with the PP2. Where it's not better than a 1LE, which is primarily off the line acceleration,
It's only tenths off. In every way that matters to me, lateral acceleration, rolling acceleration, braking, it's better. Also, I'm not a pussy concerned with a little...
Ironic right? The superior alpha chassis didn't fare so we'll against the lowly s550 on the skid pad or slalom. AND albeit subjective like the rest of the article (sheesh!), got a lower chassis rating. Lol.
That's interesting. What is your frame of reference for a stock truck? A 6.1 0-60 and 14.6 1/4 mile seems pretty snappy for a loaded four door truck that can tow 11,300 pounds. IIRC, it tested faster than any of the other new trucks that year, with the exception of the Raptor.
