  1. Headrest GoPro mount--safe?

I've just been using the helmet mount adapter which works well. I couldn't find a good way to mount to the Recaro's.
  2. Headrest GoPro mount--safe?

I wouldn't pay $70 for the MMR mount. You can build one very inexpensively using some 1" square aluminum pipe, u-bolts, clear tubing (to insulate noise) and black spray paint all from your local hardware store. Before I put the Recaro seats in my car, I made this mount which worked very well. I...
  3. Dedicated track tire for 18x10 recommendations

Looking forward to hearing your feedback on this as I imagine I will eventually go with the 275 NT01s on my Apex 18x10 wheels.
  4. Stock PP Brake Pad Comparison

Jim, looking back at your original post it does look like your pads had the silver backing plate which is what the GLOC R8 pads use...the R12s are blue. Perhaps the blue color faded out entirely if they were in fact R12 pads, but the switch up may have been a possibility..
  5. BMR Suspension's BK051 POLY Diff Lockout Kit: Close-Up Look, Pics and Info!

I like the idea of the stronger bolts in the diff, especially with how I track the car. Would I have to drop the entire diff to make the modifications necessary for these new bolts?
  6. Brembo caliper rebuild

Yea I had the same issue when I originally ordered, they insisted they were 3 different sizes but must be mistaking for another platform. It is absolutely 36mm piston size all around for the PP six piston Brembos.
  7. FS - Black Schroth Quickfit Pro - Pasenger and driver side - S550

I have these same harnesses and they work great. Much better option than the Rally4 harnesses (can be removed in seconds), plus the Quickfit Pro version was designed specifically for use with a HANS device (you're all planning on wearing a HANS with your harnesses, right?!). Great price too!
  8. Ridetech coilover with aftermarket swaybar issue

I'll have to post up some pictures of the clearance I have, but I run my BMR bar on the middle setting and have not had any issues. Never tried full stiff, so can't say for certain whether it would clear or not.
  9. Ridetech coilover with aftermarket swaybar issue

I run the BMR bar and endlinks with my Ridetechs and don't have this issue.
  10. Spring rates????

    Camber is 2.2F 1.5R
  11. Spring rates????

Thanks! 400/500 seems reasonable, I'll give that a shot.
  12. Spring rates????

I'm thinking about going stiffer on my Ridetech Level 2's. I have 350f/400r springs and with my BMR bars set to medium stiffness in the front and full soft in rear, I feel the car is VERY well balanced on the road course. I'd like to maintain the balance, but benefit from a stiffer spring...
  13. Brake cooling hose routing

How did you route the passenger side hose around the washer fluid tank? I pinched the hose a bit and ran it between the tank and wheel well liner rather than routing the hose under the tank and between the undertray. I found if I did the later, the passenger side hose did drop down farther than...
  14. Brake cooling hose routing

No problem! I ran a one day event yesterday and just put the AP rotors on. I made the switch from the factory non-slotted rotors and the difference in bite and consistency throughout a 25-30 min session was definitely noticeable! Not to mention the 10lbs per side weight savings, improved cooling...
  15. Brake cooling hose routing

Mike, here's a few pictures of how I routed my hoses. After inspecting my hoses, I do see some slight pinching of the hose on the driver side from the sway bar but most of my rubbing comes from the steering rack boot. A couple things that I noticed from your original setup: - I...
  16. Brake cooling hose routing

Valid question, but the brake cooling kit will flow more air directly to the rotor face and be more effective at cooling the brakes than with just the PP undertray.
  17. Brake cooling hose routing

I have the same FTBR kit on my car, which is also lowered (on Ridetech coilovers). I have mine routed generally the same as you, but have zip tied the hose to that black wire loom to pull it up and out of contact with the sway bar. The only significant rubbing I get is on the steering rack boot...
  18. Subframe Threads Torn Up?

You are not the first to have this issue, it happens! M14x2 tap will clean the threads up and you'll be fine.
  19. JLT Brake cooling kit for the 2015 Mustang

Functionally, you would be better off routing the ducts from the lower grill inlets (after opening them up of course). Not saying it wouldn't work from the upper grill but the lower grill option provides a straight shot to the spindles/rotors. There would be a lot of unnecessary bends in the...
  20. BMR's New Delrin Sway Bar Bushings, it's the little things that matter.

I just installed the new delrin sway bar bushings on my car today. Big thank you to Kelly BMR Tech for your support in developing these products for our cars. I've had the BMR front/rear sway bars installed since last summer. 8 track days and several thousand street miles later I noticed the...
