I don't have any baseline besides the stock P-zeros but I've been running 275/40/18 RE11s on my 18x10 Apex wheels and have been very satisfied.
I have 8 track days on them and still have 5-6 32nds tread. I run them ~ 30f/29r cold and target 35-36 psi HOT. Very predictable tire that...
Thanks for the input.
Still need more seat time to figure out the best (economical and performance) combo for my driving style and current tires (RE-11, soon to be RS4).
For a switch to be worthwhile the Ferodos would have to last at least 2x as long or maybe I just need to adjust my...
Which rear pads would you run with the Ferodo DSUNO up front on a Mustang GT? I don't see any rear pads offered by Ferodo.
I'm very happy with the performance of my GLOC R12/R10 combo, but like you said they tend to wear a bit quicker than I'd like. Curious how the DSUNO would stack up...
I spoke with Livernois and they will post up some dyno charts and further details on their tuning capability/results for the GT350 intake installed on the 5.0. Hopefully a good alternative to some of the well established GT350 manifold tunes from Lund/JDM etc.
Livernois Motorsports I spoke with Anthony from your tuning dept. and this actually will be an issue. Your shop has not seen an S550 Coyote with the GT350 intake manifold so you don't have a tune available.
So what can Livernois do for me? Get a GT350 intake manifold tune! The cost/benefit...
I have your Livernois tune on my GT and have been looking into the GT350 intake manifold. Have you set up a tune for this? The forum seems pretty silent in regards to Livernois GT350 intake manifold tunes on the Coyote.
My R12/R10 after a 2-day event (~4hrs track time) at VIR. I might have two sessions left in the front pads, the rears have barely any wear. Wish we could get better pad life, but a track like VIR is very tough on brakes!
BTW, I got a set of the Ti shims from Tim Optimum Performance. They fit...
Yea i really dont get why they couldnt put together a better bracket/mount for the front lines. They are pretty highly regarded and Brembo uses them in their BBKs but they slipped on such a simple issue. Maybe Speigler has a better solution, AP Essex uses their lines on their BBK.
I didnt have an issue with the rear lines, however the mount for the front lines was exactly as you described - totally unsecure. I put a few extra heavy duty zip ties on the bracket/line to secure - its not going anywhere now.
