  1. 2016 CompO "5.sl0w" Bagged S550 Project

I was quoted $400 for the roof which I thought was very high. $150 seems more reasonable. Did you pull the vents or did they wrap them on the car? -CMY
  2. Corsa Extreme Cat-Back Feedback Needed

turbosc297 when you say you have sports do you mean sport mufflers or sport cat-back?
  3. Corsa Extreme Cat-Back Feedback Needed

Thanks. I have been leaning towards that setup from the start. I really wish I could hear the Extreme with no-cats in person. My car currently has a single X-Pipe on it...do you know if there is a noticeable sound difference going to the Corsa Double X?
  4. Corsa Extreme Cat-Back Feedback Needed

You do have a good point. However, its a good deal, not a great deal ;) Cheaper than any other place selling them by $200. If I hate them I could just take em off and try and sell them and hope to get close to what I bought them for.
  5. Corsa Extreme Cat-Back Feedback Needed

Car is boosted so exhaust will be louder. The car has run 10.80s at 134mph. Cats have been deleted. I'm leaning towards the touring mufflers but am considering the extremes (Sport Mufflers). I just don't want to regret having something so loud that cops can hear me pulling out of my garage...
  6. Corsa Extreme Cat-Back Feedback Needed

Thanks Bankss550 for your feedback. And super cool you get so many  One thing I forgot to mention...I have an auto so when driving you are on the converter at lower RPM so I don't think you can be as gentle with the gas and keep it quite like you can with a stick car.
  7. Recommendations for quietest cat-back exhaust?

I second BmacIL feedback. I had Corsa Touring mufflers only and it was quit at idle and cruse and got loud when you stood on the gas. I have cat delete and an x-pipe with stock muffs and it sounds broken to me. Tinny is a good word. I'm looking at mufflers to replace but not get stupid loud.
  8. Corsa Extreme Cat-Back Feedback Needed

Could I get a forum Mod to move this to the proper section please?
  9. Corsa Extreme Cat-Back Feedback Needed

Doh...wrong forum :headbonk: And probably another reason why searching the forum didn't yield any results. That's what I get trying to screw off at work.
  10. Corsa Extreme Cat-Back Feedback Needed

I've watched just about every Corsa video and audio clip on the web and can't come to a decision on whether I should go with the Extreme or the Sport setup. Watching videos and listening to audio clips just doesn't give you the same experience as it does in person. Before I get to my...
  11. Gt350 Track Pack Spoiler?

Hard to tell from the pics...how close does the paint on the wing match the color on your car?
  12. Nitto NT555 G2

My problem is horsepower. 12psi of Whipple power will blaze the tires at any speed under 80mph. Like I said in my previous post I was looking for a street tire with better wet performance. I had NT05Rs and any rain on the road turned my car into a white knuckled death trap. I really want a set...
  13. whipple green gates

That's the size I tried in standard edition trim. Not sure why that one is not listed in their parts list. But good find nonetheless.
  14. whipple green gates

I'm not sure there is a belt that will fit with the new shorter routing. I just pulled up the Gates belt chart. Whipple says you need a K060891 which is 89 3/4" long and could go as short as the K060882 which is 88 7/8" in length.
  15. Nitto NT555 G2

I'm also not a fan of the NT555 G2s. They have a good looking tread pattern and look aggressive on the car. However, the tires squeal when turning, spin like crazy on the street, and generally do not hook up very well. Tire life seems to be good which was one of the reason why I moved away from...
  16. GT350 Track Pack Rear Spoiler Paint Code?

Anyone know the paint code for the GT350 Track Pack Rear Spoiler? Looking to have a few parts painted to match. Thanks -Cmy
  17. Whipple belt chirp

Update: I got the 891 belt on but it took a little extra work. The long breaker bar I was using to release tension didn't allow me to pull the tensioner back far enough because it was bottoming out on the lower hoses. It was close to hitting the stop but just a tad short of being able to slip...
  18. Whipple belt chirp

Just looked at the belt sizes...the 891 is only 1/4" longer than the 888. Not sure how in the heck I'm going to get that belt on either. How have you guys with the shorter belt get your belts on?
  19. Whipple belt chirp

The K060888 is too short to fit on my car. I tried a bunch of different ways but with everything else in the way I was not able to get the belt on. It's possible if I could have reached down to the crank with another set of hands I could have slipped the belt on but that is not an option with...
  20. Whipple belt chirp

Local auto part store did not have any K060891 belts in stock...but they did have a K060888. It was also $10 cheaper than the 891. Will swap it on later tonight after the car cools off. Thanks for the feedback.
