What is the gates part number for the shorter belt that Whipple is sending? I've got conflicting information and no replacement belt yet. I'm just going to try and find one from a local auto parts store today and swap it. I can't take the noise any longer.
Whipple tells me...
What I'm not...
I spent several hours in the garage this weekend I was able to get my load resistors to work with my damaged Raxiom switchbacks. A little bit of solder, electrical tape, patience, and trial and error I was able to get all up and working.
I've attached some pictures that I hope will help...
I was able to bend the contact in the plug back with a pick and small screw driver. I would try that first before buying another set of load resistors. If you want to sell me one of your new switchbacks, or your old one, to offset the cost let me know. I need 1 bulb myself.

skinnysaurus it looks like you have the Raxiom switchback bulbs like me. I went that route because they were the brightest. The jdmastar bulbs are not as bright and when I asked if they had a brighter bulb they recommended that I don't go that route if I want to use the load resistors. See my...
Been in contact with the load resistor manufacture and this is what they sent me after dealing with the exact same issue you have. Hope this helps if you plan to purchase a replacement.
UPDATE:
Not only do I not have front facing white LEDs my rear running lights do not work. The blinkers still do. It was a long way home in the dark with no running lights or tools to takes these off. After returning home I pulled the load resistors and now I have functioning lights again. The...
Ok...pulled the load resistor assembly out and dropped in the stock bulb to test the circuit. It lit up so there has to be a problem with these harnesses. So I go to pull my Raxiom LED switch back led out and it gets stuck. No matter how gently I tried to remove the bulb it damaged and bent one...
Just installed and my hyper blink is gone but I no longer have the white LED portion working. Pulled the bulb and flipped it around but doing so bends all the pins on the bulb when pulling it out. I also tried swapping the harness 180 degrees and still don't get the white LED. Both load...
Nice runs...I managed a best of 1.81 60' on the G2s but overall they were very difficult to keep planted to the track. Even after the 60' once I started to lay into the throttle the tires would spin.
Overall, what do you think of the G2s on the street at your power levels? I also miss my...
Sounds like a great idea. I just took a look and the ColorLugs are $23.99 and a set of black lug nuts is only $35.99. Not sure if that is really save a ton of money...but still a savings.
Yah I get that...but like I said was wonder if the R actually hooks any better or if there is a softer sidewall.
Since these tires will be put onto a second set of wheels and only driven to the track on dry days I'm leaning towards the R, however, I have to run a 29" tall tire compared to the...
Anyone know the difference between the MT ET Street R vs the SS? To me looks like the same compound. The SS has more of a street tread and the R is more of the slick. But what I'm really looking for is there a huge difference in traction between the two. The SS has a lot more size options over...
