I recently swapped my front end for the GT350 aftermarket fenders, hood etc and had a question.
I know that the OEM 350 rims fit a GT no problem but with the fronts fill out that wheel gap nicely with the aftermarket kit?
Thanks
Sitting on parts that need to go immediately. My wife and I had an unexpected change in our lives and I need to free up some cash.
All prices are OBO but will drop them for a quick sale
Local pickup is preferred but I can meet halfway with the NE area. Shipping at the buyers expense...
The wheels themselves are 9.5x20 (25mm) off set and 10.5x20 (42mm) offset.
The 305/30/20 will probably be my best bet as others have said.
What's wild is that one Sullivan tire said they would do it where another said they wouldn't. Doesn't make sense lol
Not really. I'll go 295 in the back if need be. I just like staggered and want to fill out those gaps in the well.
Plus, I'm lowering the car and inch, too
I'll try it out. What's weird is one shop will do it, one won't and the last said they'd have to, "Send my wheels out".
This was all from Sullivan tire who is the only one willing to put the 20s on.
I've called six different shops in my area from NTB and Firestone to Sullivan Tire. Most tell me they won't install anything over 19".
I call Sullivan today (they said they'd install the other day) and they tell me they won't install the rear (305/35/20) as the rolling diameter is outside of...
Gt350 front end conversion.
Now I just need to throw on my new 20s and lower it an inch.
Would not recommend A/M parts. If I had more money, OEM would've been the way to go. Fit and finish is 90 percent OEM, but the body shop had to do a lot of work to get it right. Overall, I'm very happy.
Damn, beautiful car.
I was thinking of running a 1" spacer in the front as I did the 350 conversion and the fenders stick out an inch to make it flush.
I'm running 305 Ft101's 9.5 25mm and 10.5 45mm in the rear. Haven't mounted yet. But the car is getting dropped an inch all around and...
I was planning on running a staggered set up with 20x9.5 and 20x10.5. With 275/35/20 and 305/35/20
My concern is that I'm also dropping the car 1" all around.
Any issues with wheel run or irregular wear on the tires for anyone that runs a similar set up?
The car is my daily and I do a good...
Yeah, I noticed that in my dad's 19 GT.
I already have the shelby shift trim, gauge and AC vents on it and I found the steering wheel trim through Tasca.
Now I need to find the door hardware trim and I'll be good to go.
I've also though about plastic dipping those switches either black or...
