I'd imagine the pig tail to install gauges (wire behind the stereo) would be present.
I've read that along is the car is a Premium version, then it'll be there. Whether an Eco or GT.
I installed the GT350 dash panel/trim in my non PP GT. I also installed the gauges as well. There's a pig tail connector from the factory tucked behind the stereo that made this a plug and play. It's located behind the small square hole in the upper part of the pic
I know this should be a no-brainer but I'm having a hard time convincing myself to make the switch.
I love my 16' GT. Absolutely love it. But I find I want to mod it and with every planned mod, it's morphing into a bootleg Shelby.
So without the obvious, "The Shelby is worth it because it's a...
Not to revive a dead thread but big thanks to the OP.
Just completed the project. Pain in the ass getting under there for me (big hands;etc).
Took it around the block and what a difference already.
Im gonna add one small spacer to the lowest bracket. Maybe a 1/4" to truly make it flush.
Does anyone know what type/size tips I can use for a Borla S? I have no issues with cutting the valance but I was wondering if I could fit at least a quad set of 3 inch tips.
The muffler comes with a single 4 as is.
Are you plugging into the USB port located in the center console (arm rest).
I found that a USB 3.0 helped. I tried downloading last night and nothing happened after 1.5hrs. Today, everything completed in 15 mins.
Sounds good. I'm not hip to the USB 3.0 but the claim of being 10x faster than 2.0 makes this tolerable. I'm gonna go pick one up soon and try to download it later tonight.
Appreciate the reply.
The USB is a couple of years old. And yes, the lights on it were flashing indicating that files are being moved. But nothing downloaded after 2 key cycles and a Master Reset.
Everything is formatted correctly as well as being unzipped correctly. Maybe I just need to buy a...
Does anyone know the average download time?
I tried to download via USB for an hour and half and nothing happened. It just said, "Software Updating". Is this a 4 hour long process? I'm going from V1 to V3 in a 2016.
And this is why MA has been sucking the fun out of modding for the past several years.
Yeah, I'm ordering one tomorrow along with new filters (need to be replaced).
Now I'm doing the sync 3 update. 15 mins to go!
I was recently thinking about buying the JLT on AM but didn't know if the benefits outweigh the cost (cheap, but still).
Anyone here have good success using one? Also, does this pull codes? There's a note at the bottom that this is intended for off-road/hwy use only on the website.
I've tried via wifi with both a Hotspot and solid connection.
Since I don't have a PC, I can't go the USB route. I tried a Mac based download, but even with unzipping the files, it didn't work.
I read that the 16 Premiums could upgrade to version 3. Unless that was misinformation.
Any info...
I'm after that deep rumble but not crazy volume. The MBRP is pretty cool and I love the price.
Ideally, I'd run the roush AB with my H Pipe, but I D
don't want my neighbors keying my car when I leave at 0500.
