  1. Going to see 2015 in person today...

Well then the order guide is wrong as it asserts that the GT has all the features of the Ecoboost and nowhere does it state that noise cancellation is not included on the GT....
  2. Going to see 2015 in person today...

Not according to the Canadian Order Guide - the GT has that feature (it's covered by the phrase "all Ecoboost content plus:").
  3. 2015 Mustang Full Site (and Builder) is Finally Up

Back to the configurator - I'm thinking (hoping) this may just be a temporary setup as it blows... pretty low-rent and cheesy, like something I'd have expected from Kia 5 years ago. - tiny images/photos/renders that make it next to impossible to see any details - no true 360 rotation of car...
  4. Guard EB Premium Impression

OMG - most exciting S550 video yet!! Be still my beating heart....:p
  5. Flat Rock Assembly Plant Trip Report

Reviews I've read put the PS A/S 3s at the top of the heap for A/S performance, very close to a performance summer tire.
  6. If it wasn't for the S550, what would you be looking at?

Not so sure about that - it's 600+ more pounds'a pork and that is going to make some difference in the tactility of the driving experience. I think the EB will have to have mindblowing handling and steering feel to close that gap enough to appeal to hardcore GT86 fans.
  7. If it wasn't for the S550, what would you be looking at?

You and I have appear to have overlapping tastes. (Seen you over on FT86.) My alternatives for testing include: M2 new Miata PRHT new Golf R Toyobaru twins (after MY 16 mid cycle refresh (fingers crossed)) A few of these are at least a year away. Mind you if I am blown away by the GT I may...
  8. Just how much better looking is the 2015 Mustang in person?

Good news! I found even the S197 a bit visibility-impaired. Nice that the S550 comes with a standard backup camera now too.
  9. 2015 Mustang GT full exhaust sound!

Ahh - thanks for that info, glad to see the overhang has not increased!
  10. 2015 Mustang GT full exhaust sound!

One thing I do like about your S197 though - the shorter front overhang. By comparison the overhang on the S550 looks a bit FWD to me.
  11. Just how much better looking is the 2015 Mustang in person?

Never said length of the nose, I was talking about the overall size of the Mustang body (LxWxH) - seems too big relative to the smallish greenhouse. The M4 has a more proportionate greenhouse IMO (ie relatively larger in relation to the car's overall size). The C7 is long-hooded, obviously...
  12. Just how much better looking is the 2015 Mustang in person?

With you on that, although rear visibility when driving is a bit scary.... too bad they did not incorporate the rear-view camera into a driving mode like the C6R has.
  13. Just how much better looking is the 2015 Mustang in person?

Seen at an auto show, but roped off so not right up to it. Personally I found the proportions a bit weird, I am hoping I get used to it over time. The ratio of greenhouse area to the massive body seemed off a bit - the smaller greenhouse on the 15 compared to the 14 seemed more suited to a...
  14. FYI: Employee pricing is available on 2015 Mustangs in Canada!

^Because people in this thread and elsewhere in the Canadian regional forum did claim to "know a thing" - like what the invoice was and what the discount on invoice for employee pricing was. And we definitely know the MSRPs. Anyone shopping for a new Mustang with a few brain cells to rub...
  15. FYI: Employee pricing is available on 2015 Mustangs in Canada!

^ Thanks for the details on your pricing. I am not sure why you were given a base of $44,499 for the GT PRemium when the info on this site and on another forum are both saying it's 2K lower. The only reasonable explanation is your GT order includes the $2k equipment group 401A which is embedded...
  16. FYI: Employee pricing is available on 2015 Mustangs in Canada!

Thanks for that info. 6.76% below MSRP as "invoice" is a total joke - if that in fact was the true cost of the car to a dealer they'd all be out of business, it's just a lot of marketing BS. I think you may have been shafted, if the invoice differential is 12% in the US as indicated on this...
  17. 2015 Mustang Canadian Pricing and Order Guide Released

We need a source for those invoice pricing numbers - seems low for a GT premium at 36,974 on a $42,499 MSRP - that is a 15% differential. There is a discrepancy in the PDF re the pricing - Viva indicates that "All CANADIAN Base Prices noted above include Destination and Delivery" and yet his...
  18. FYI: Employee pricing is available on 2015 Mustangs in Canada!

FYI, I took the invoice price (as well as option invoice prices) from the PDF "Canadian specs and prices" distributed on this forum. The relevant line of that PDF: The first price is the MSRP, the second the invoice. All the MSRPs for the models and options in that PDF match those listed in the...
  19. FYI: Employee pricing is available on 2015 Mustangs in Canada!

Another quick question - when you put an order in is the deposit you guys have been making refundable based on a test drive?
  20. FYI: Employee pricing is available on 2015 Mustangs in Canada!

Interesting. How long is that employee pricing likely to last? I'd need a test drive before biting. Ford web site says it expires Sept 30 2013 LOL. For a GT Premium build at 6.4% below invoice I would go for: 36,974 : invoice on GT premium 3219 : 67G (PP) 435...
