I am considering finding a 3Dstock site. But til then, I'm gonna keep it close to the vest. I may eventually be able to provide it to some of the M6G faithful.
Here's a 'shopped taillight improvement/guess
When it is slow at work, you guys benefit.
The taillights will just have to be an unsatisfied mystery for now. Can't unsee the cranberry can, now THANKS!
TB, I can say with great certainty, the quarter window does not lay flush. The inset will be more elegantly incorporated by the talented sculptors at Ford.
You may be right on the door curve, but have you seen this?
I took the liberty to remove the marks in the clay and put in the headlights in jjw's first render.
I don't envy the effort it will take to convert my cludgy file, so props to jjw.
I also fixed my goof up of jjw's member name.
New renderer.
M6G member jjw is in the process of adapting my model to his modeling/rendering package. He hopes to be able to provide some on model mods in addition to a more robust rendering method than mine.
I will continue to work on my model and render, while cleaning up and posting...
I did have plenty to go on, but there are little things like how the exterior scallop bumps actually look in person ( I did only have the info from a focus group for the "water bottle" look). how the LEDs illuminate them, how they look as sequential's.
The Alero? Besides the poorly watered-down Aurora styling of a dying car brand, all I can remember of the Alero are the ludicrously oversized bug-eyed taillights on that car. Even after googling it, I don't see the connection. At all. We will have to agree to disagree on this one. Welcome to...
Thanks, Stanger.
Everybody knows I've been striving for accuracy over glitz. I understand the people that don't like what I've done. Just know that I don't mind it when those people say they don't like some or all of what I've done, I'm just trying to keep it as real as possible.
I...
No changes to overall shape, just fine tuning things.
Nothing will beat walking around it in person.
I may have heard more than a few insider whispers...
Ha! Seriously, though, I actually considered it. Except the raindrops have to roll off the panels in the direction of the gravity pull. That would be too hard.
Aston Martin flavor
A repost from another thread, but also belongs here.
A lot of similarities, but affordably tamed down and the Mustang flavor kept intact.
Well said, Donk, Nick is a highly skilled professional artist who does this for a living, not a hobby, as I do.
Here is a new gif, showing the two against the 2014, all colorized to sorta match. (ouch, that CandD watermark is annoying) You can see how the CandD modeller used the backglass and...
