It will always be a matter of personal preference, but the CandD rear looks really huge and the rear glass isn't as fast-back-y. It also looks too S197-y. They look closer overlaid than they do apart. I've laid mine over the spy shots repeatedly, there is definately more front end projecting...
With regard to the hips, they can mean either or both. AFAIK the 2015 only has hips that project out from the side. Looking at the pic of the Aston, the 2015 Mustang looks to be cut from the same cloth as that rear end, just tamed.
Oh great, I'll have to avoid the comments, so I don't have to hear their users poop all over my renders again and praise this new one. Oh wait, they hate anything about the new Mustang, right?
Don't knock the artist. (negative post I was responding to was apparently deleted) I like the way his profile looks, smaller front and rear overhangs ( er whatever we are supposed to be calling them) look great, but are not over-hangy enough. I just don't think that it is accurate. I don't think...
I meant left side in the image. WAY too thin. I don't love my headlights either, but I am not a professional headlight bucket designer. Spy pix so far are showing the headlight to the outside, but that may have changed.
Close, but not it. Hood line does not terminate at the a-pillar. A-pillar on the left is too thin. Looks like a candied 3D render. I can't believe whomever did this didn't use the front end from the racetrack leak. Even the splitter is wrong, and there have been dozens of those in spy shots...
This isn't chiseled enough for you?
My headlights are an informed guess. They were still choosing which of five headlight buckets to make the production intent. I will bet they look better than my guess.
:)
Autoblog, where it seems the most 2015 Mustang haters hang out. I think they knew it was a typo but picked up on it, and used derisively.
The Autoblog article got picked up by other bloggers who just assumed that it was my name. Ha.
