Timely as the day's news.
I've been a busy beaver today, another render, this a request. Thanks, Rampant, for the suggestion. Felt I had to do the 'shopping, though.
Top on, top off.
Props to the photog who took this excellent image. If anyone has info on the shooter, let me know.
Thats probably not gonna happen. The amount do surfaces and textures increases modeling time exponentially. That's not to mention how hard it is to light. Even if I had a CAD, I wouldn't have it close before the reveal. I may do basic shapes for the view thru the windows, but that's it.
Great video, impressive app. I wish my program made changes that easy. I do work in splines, but changes in part line creases are not nearly as easy as they are in Autodesk. I'm wasting so much of my time fixing all the angles after I make changes. I've ended up using displacement deformation...
I don't think you'll be happy. The taillights will probably be narrower than mine, but not as narrow as yours. the bottom wont come up like that, it dips as it does to make the coke bottle shape from the side. I do know from spy pix that the rear end (bottom valance/ exhaust goes exactly where I...
All my early renders inadvertently had 20"+ wheels. If you are asking me to model the new rims, I have other things ahead of it. So it is a firm maybe.
I am currently rendering a slow pass of the limited focus white one I last posted. 300 frames, ten seconds, 640x360.
At least on the base model, they are turn signals. As evidenced in one of the videos you can see them flashing behind the bra. I initially thought they were LEDs and put them into my earlier renders, but I was mistaken.
