Just ordered mine, without controller, going to have it dyno before and after to see if any HP gains. Will report back. As of now, car is completely stock.
Yea the only reason I ask is that Corvette claims to have 110% efficiency with their dual intake and if Ford built one for Dark Horse I wonder why not for 350. I didn't realize an engineer said there was no real gain so that makes sense. I guess I am a purest where I want the maximum HP from...
Why didn't Ford make a duel throttle bodies for the Vodoo engine? Every other flat plane crank engine in the world has this, even the new Z06 for max air intake (naturally). I'd love to see one professionally designed as an option for us.
I agree comparing cars is only natural with electric vs displacement is apples to oranges. Some day the average electric car will be faster than our cars. Hold onto your classics boys!
Are there companies that have built any reinforcing parts for the FPC motor? Maybe that is the answer if one were to constantly put the engine through endurance season of road-course team?
All good points from the group, personally I like the bastard engine, looking back in time folks will say...
I've been on a few tracks and I don't think people understand how fast you are going and the braking of these cars, it can be very intimidating, this is why I appreciate twisty tracks. Wish I had a pdk shifter on my GT350 for tracks, it would be glorious......
As for the track, the reviews, the reviews state the R is hands down one of the best, if not the best track car as a mustang, that can't and won't ever be said about the Mach1.
